1. Promo Editor
• Editing short spots and billboards (:10, :15, :30, :60) in order to promote complex video content.
• Involves moderate editing of content, replacing program graphics, creating ready to air video files
• Add voiceover or soundtracks to video content
• Cut programs to clock
• Following edit suggestions provided by client account team, edit to time, finesse video transitions, and coordinate delivery with client account and production teams. With direction from the client account team, this may involve a re-organization of the program material that creates a new program.
• Footage and images will come from a variety of sources and in some cases will come from the client or purchased footage.
• Collaborate within the Business Development team to develop and optimize promotional campaigns across various digital platforms and locations
• Other duties as assigned
• BA/BS degree.
• Relevant experience in television promotion and presentation, graphics, video editing, video production, audio production, music editing, and sound effects.
• Must have tremendous design sensibilities & superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
• Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects is required.
• Extensive experience interpreting producer ideas and working with editors and support staff.
• Strong ability to work well under tight deadlines both independently and within groups.
• Able to lead as well as direct others.
• Ability to learn and adjust to new television and web technology.
• Must be a team player with a professional, positive, outgoing personality who takes initiative without supervision.
• Deep knowledge and appreciation for music and lifestyle culture.
• Must be passionate, fearless and have a good sense of humor.
