IT Devices
You should have some number of computers (Desktops or Laptops machines) depending on your business need. Appropriated software such as Windows 7/8 , Office 2010/2013 and some useful applications(e.g. 7zip, Xnview,PDF Creator) must be installed on them. The printers and scanner should be also installed for your business.
Internet connectivity
The internet services like FTTH , ADSL,Wimax can be used for your business.At least one backup internet should be set up for continuous connectivity.The different internet services (Yatanarpon /MPT) should be used so that if one internet is down, you can still use internet from other internet line.
Local network setup
A Local Area Network (LAN) should be set up in your office to use your IT resources such as Data sharing/storage device like Network Attached Storage( NAS) , printers and scanner. The LAN can be wired or wireless or both. When you set up your LAN , a good quality of network devices and accessories should be used for better connectivity and reliability.
Email Set up
As email is compulsory for your business, it should be used with your business domain name such as [email protected] .You can use email client like Microsoft Outlook for better functionality.
Data sharing between users
A Network Attached Storage (NAS) device should be used for data sharing between users in your office.You can set up Department shares for users in each department, Public share for all users in the office.You can share data with big size that cannot be sent through email among users.
Data backup
As data is very important for your business, a good data backup system must be set up. The NAS device with hard disk drives (large capacity) should be used to backup data from user computers. It can be scheduled to run daily/weekly/monthly without user involvement.
Antimalware/Antivirus application
A good antimalware/antivirus application such as Kaspersky /Mcfee/Norton should be used for your business security. The antivirus definitions should be updated daily via NAS.
Documentation for your IT infrastructure
The list of computers, email users, Login credentials,LAN diagram and NAS permission table must be documented. An IT policy should be implemented for your business.
