Snow Leopard Tech Challenge

Annual startup event that brings together early-stage investors and asset managers, successful entrepreneurs and early-stage, up-and-coming startups.

During this event, we also aim to contribute the protection of the endangered snow leopards.

We are proud to announce this year’s Top 10 semi-finalists of Snow Leopard Tech Challenge. Earlier today, we showcased our semi-finalists to the venture capitals, individual investors, and professionals. We are pleased to share with you the results of the Global Demo Day 2020.

This year, we focused on finding unpolished gems from Central Asia and we’ve received over 100 applications from Central Asia and Mongolia. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the applications we received and the achievements each of the startups have attained so far.

We will invite the top contenders for a short video interview one by one starting next week.

After careful consideration, Irbis Ventures team prequalified startups who substantially satisfied the prequalification requirements. All prequalified startups have received an email with instructions for next steps.
We thank again all startups who submitted their applications for SLTC 2020. We wish to work with all of you in the near future 👏👏👏

🏁 The application period for the Snow Leopard Tech Challenge 2020 has been successfully completed.

According to the SLTC schedule, Irbis Ventures team is in the process of completing a preliminary review among 113 startup applications. Startups that meet the following requirements will continue their journey in the next round:

1️⃣ Startup profile in Irbis Oasis is complete
2️⃣ Startup applicant has a technology-based solution
3️⃣ Startups with founders from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikstan, or Turkmenistan; or startups who offer its services or products to those countries.

Startups who satisfy these criteria will progress towards the next stage of SLTC: Peer Review Process.

We thank all the SLTC applicant startups and wish all the best for their startup journey👍
