Facebook has more than 2.91 billion active users, making it a vital platform for small business sales and social media marketing. A Facebook Business Page can connect you with customers and offer key information about your business, products, services, and upcoming events.

This is what millions of people do, so are our brothers and sisters in this group !

I decided to research and write a few lines as most of what comes below are from the net. I see it crucial to share this. Admins have just rejected a post by a new user, who wishes to do business on Facebook BUT at the same time wants to be anonymous and she has not provided the least phone number? who would buy from here, when, she has hidden all her details, has no friends on her page, nor her business details? She may be a genuine or bona-fide person but, this lives doubt whether, she is really a genuine person. Isn't Paheli (removed from the group)

HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK MARKETING STRATEGY IN 6 EASY STEPS
Okay, so you’re an expert in Facebook posts now. That was fast! Let’s take a look at some ideas to help you build a solid Facebook strategy to make the most of your Page.
1. DEFINE YOUR AUDIENCE
To engage your audience effectively, you’ve got to understand who you’re talking to first. Get to know your Target Audience by asking yourself the following questions:
How old are your target followers?
Where do they live?
What kind of jobs do they have?
What are their challenges?
How and when do they use Facebook?

What does success look like for your brand? Sure, it can be tempting to look at Likes as the ultimate measure of achievement, but if they’re not part of a broader marketing plan, those likes aren’t much of anything. Sometimes they’re even called a vanity metric.
A strong goal that’s tied to your business objectives is essential for creating an effective Facebook marketing strategy. Every business will have different goals, but each should focus on actions that impact their bottom line.
This may include:
Generating leads
Increasing conversions on your website
Improving customer service
Once you’ve decided what you want to achieve, we recommend mapping out specific, measurable ways to get there. We recommend using a recognized goal-setting framework like SMART goals or the OKR goal framework.
Every post, every comment, every ad you create on Facebook should ultimately be in service of your goals. Determining the right mix of content takes trial and error, but a good rule of thumb is to use the “80-20 Rule”: that means using 80% of your posts to inform, educate and entertain, and the other 20% to promote your brand.
That’s right: not every post should be about how great your company is. That gets old fast, like a friend’s new boyfriend talking about Bitcoin through your entire birthday dinner.
Instead, aim to provide value and build relationships with your followers. Give them content that they’ll enjoy regularly, and they’ll be more open-minded to hearing about your products and services when you do bring them up 20% of the time.
Another option to help guide your content mix is the social-media rule of thumThirds. Under this school of thought, one-third of your content should share ideas and stories, one-third of your content should involve personal interactions with your followers and the rest of your content can promote your business.
Whatever specific numerical mix you wind up with, the goal is to balance promotional material with value.
Hot tip: Facebook punishes brands that push sales too hard. The algorithm is not a fan of self-promotion, as it turns out. The platform wants to prioritize meaningful, engaging content… not just coupons.
Once you’ve decided what to post, deciding when to post it is your next step.
You can glean some insight on engagement from Page Insights, but our research shows that the best time to post of Facebook on Facebook is at 6:15 AM and 12:15 PM PST on weekdays.

Whatever your Facebook marketing goal may be, it’ll be tough to achieve it if no one knows your page exists.
That’s why it’s important to a) get people to your Page in the first place and b) compel them to interact once they get there.

One easy way to help people find your Facebook Business Page is through cross-promotion. Help people who are already interacting with you on other platforms find you on Facebook by linking to your Page in your email signature and newsletter, and incorporating Facebook like and share button on your website or blog.
To get those views, Likes and Follows rolling in is a little less scientific: you’ve got to create highly shareable content. Posts that are valuable and entertaining will (hopefully!) inspire followers to share with their friends.
To build engagement, it’s important to remember that you get out of Facebook what you put into it. You need to be engaged, too, if you expect your followers to be.
Responsiveness is a highly valued attribute of brands, so get chatty. Reply to every message and comment, answer questions, and keep content up-to-date. (In fact, you should be scheduling a regular audit of your page to check for and remove any outdated content. Your About section should always be accurate, up-to-date, and on-brand.)

5. CONSIDER USING OTHER FACEBOOK TOOLS
Once you’ve gotten comfortable with running a Facebook Business Page, there are plenty of additional ways that brands can find opportunities for engagement beyond posts and comments.

To take your page to the next level, it’s helpful to set up Facebook Business Manager, too. Facebook calls it “a one-stop-shop to manage business tools, business assets and employee access to these assets.” How can you resist?!
In simpler terms, Business Manager is a tool that allows you to manage your organic and paid Facebook posts. It also allows you to work effectively with team members and outside contractors and agencies.

FACEBOOK GROUPS
Groups are another great “extra credit” tool you can use to drive engagement. In a way, Groups are like the online equivalent of your favorite coffee shop or community center. They are digital spaces for people to share information and ideas… and hopefully, a passion for your brand. With 1.4 billion people using Facebook Groups every month, it’s an audience too large to ignore.
You can also use Facebook Groups to showcase your expertise and provide added value to your fans, with bonus content or special deals that are just for “members.” This is a great way to build trust and ongoing loyalty.
But if people are passionate about your brand, you may not even need to create a special space for them to gather: sometimes fans will create their own Facebook Group with a focus on your brand. If you do discover such Groups out there in the world, it’s a good idea to join so you can keep an eye on the conversation, and make sure any misconceptions or negativity are nipped in the bud.
In general, though, fan-made Facebook Groups are an amazing sign that you’re doing something right. Lucky you!

This is why a Doctor, a Lawyer, An Accountant charges you and you will never discuss with them asking for a discount !

Recently, I was working on corporate video and I also did a logo for a woman who quits her job in a textile factory to do cakes and pastries. It was free.

Whether a video or an artwork, it involves lots of time, planning, elements like buying vector/s or for a video, rushes/videoblocks. I was to give her this video and though, we have a library of vectors, photos and which we pay for these, we have used three of her pictures and inserted in the video. She started fuming and asked us not to use the pictures of cakes. In fact, this was a test case to see how certain people react.

Eventually, we ban her from one of the pages. Narrow parochial behaviour indeed !

See how the public don't respect and value public hospitals though, in spite of all vicissitudes, millions of people attend or get treatment at public hospital BUT, even if there are medical negligence at clinic, they will never complain !

People don't value when we give them artwork. Yet, in an Ad agency, they will not bargain. And they will see a White person more credible, even if a black or brown person does better !

When my business first started doing well, my friends would say to me, “Ramit, can you give me a course for free?” And I always said yes.

I was raised in a culture where you help everyone you can, for free, and you don’t expect anything in return. If you’re a college guidance counselor, that means you’re looking at all your nieces’ and nephews’ college admission essays. If you’re a doctor, it means you can count on your auntie dropping off her X-rays for your second opinion. And if you sell information products, it means you give them access, no questions asked.

I never minded giving them access. I wasn’t concerned about “capturing all the revenue.” Plus it didn’t really cost me anything to add another email address to my user list, so why not.

But… I would always track to see whether they logged on. Can you guess if they did or not?

The answer is: Of course not. People value what they pay for.

This sounds so obvious, but I didn’t internalize it until this happened over and over again. I gave them a $2,000 course for free, they didn’t even log in ONCE. After awhile, I started to feel a little resentful. This is my business. This is what I do and they’re not even taking me seriously.

I tried to find creative ways to get them to put some skin in the game. It was important to me they didn’t think I was greedy, that it was all about the money. But I also wanted them to take it seriously! I tried to get them to donate 50% of the sales price to charity, and I’d give them the course.

As you can imagine, that was a disaster.

Finally, I gave up, and whenever someone asked for a free program, I said, “Look, I want to give you this material. I know it can help you. It’s not about the money, but in my experience, if people don’t pay, they just don’t value it.”

I said, “This is my livelihood. This is what I do for a living and I’m really good at it. So, if you’re interested, I’ll be happy to open up a slot in this course. It’s closed right now, but I’ll open one up for you. But I would have to ask you to pay the full price, just like anyone else.”

What do you think happened? Most of those people who wanted it for free went away. But the people who said, “Okay, I’ll do it,” they looked at every single lesson in the course. And that changed everything.

Remember: People value what they pay for.
“Nearing the final portion of the call, the prospect said: ‘Okay, I've gotten so much already out of today and I know I want to work with you.’ I then proceeded to discuss my recommendation and what working together would look like — a 3-month contract. Then the price: $2,600. EXCEPT, not only did they not bat an eye, they locked in to $2,600 PER MONTH for 3 months, totaling $7,800. What?!! I couldn't believe they saw that value in me. Yet they did.” — Jessica E.

I can tell you from our own data, that of all the people who get our free emails, the people who actually bought a product are 5 times more likely to open it than those who’ve never bought.
Think about that: On many of my paid lists, I have an open rate of over 100%.

That means they’re opening up every email, more than once, whereas the typical email open rate on a typical list might be something like 15-18%. It’s a stark difference.

Understand that people value what they pay for. You’re not doing them a disservice by charging them, you’re actually doing a profound service for the people who want to take action.
