Not every iPhone issue means a bad IC — especially with newer models and iOS 26.3.
Many failures are caused by authentication or system trust issues, not hardware defects, and usually appear during the boot process.

Baseband, Face ID, NFC, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or Battery may be physically intact and powered, yet limited or disabled because the system does not authenticate them correctly.

The most common mistake is replacing a perfectly working IC when the device actually needs proper diagnosis, not soldering.

Question for technicians (especially with iOS 26.3):
Have you ever replaced a working part, only to realize later the issue was not hardware — but system trust?
