This MacBook arrived at our lab completely dead — no MagSafe2 light, no power. After a careful disassembly, we inspected the mainboard under the microscope 🔬 and found several shorted capacitors, oxidized resistors, and even an overheated backlight IC! ⚡️

With patience and precision, we removed all shorts, replaced the damaged resistors and backlight chip. After powering up again, the MagSafe LED came on ✅ but we noticed an unusual current draw... so we used our thermal camera 🔥 to scan the board and discovered two more chips in short! Both were replaced, and finally — success! 🎉 The MacBook booted perfectly and was returned to its happy owner 💪

In this case, the goal was to recover important data from an old iPhone XR that had literally been crushed under a car wheel 🚗💥

After thorough diagnosis under the microscope 🔍, we measured the resistance values around the FPC connector and found that resistor R3036 had a lower value than the schematic indicated.
By replacing the faulty resistor, SIM reader, and SIM tray 💪, we fully restored the phone — all at an affordable cost for this type of board-level repair! ⚡
