This Sunday, Arkafort racing team returns to the Island Car Club Malta Hillclimb Championship in Xagħra, Gozo with the Great British Sports Cars Ltd Zero. 🏁

Currently sitting 2nd in the championship standings, the focus remains the same - preparation, precision and ex*****on on race day.

This weekend also marks the start of a new chapter in a long-standing relationship, as Playcon joins Arkafort and Acronis as a main sponsor.

Having worked together for several years, with Arkafort proudly serving as Playcon's technology partner, it is great to see that collaboration represented beyond the event floor and onto the hillclimb stage.

The car will also be carrying a fresh look for this weekend's event, inspired by the partnership itself.

📌 Vacancy – IT Infrastructure Technician

Location: Malta | Type: Part-Time

At Arkafort, we don’t just deliver IT solutions - we keep our clients’ operations mission-ready. Our team works to the highest standards of reliability, speed, and professionalism, ensuring businesses can operate without disruption.

We’re now looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician to join our growing Infrastructure team, working under the guidance of our IT Infrastructure Specialist to deliver high-quality installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of passive IT infrastructure for both clients and our internal systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling to best practice standards.
• Install cable management systems (PVC trunking, cable trays, conduit).
• Assemble/install racks, cabinets, and network equipment.
• Perform patching and labelling to Arkafort standards.
• Diagnose and repair cabling faults and connectivity issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance for clients and Arkafort’s own infrastructure.
• Maintain company tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow site access, health, and safety protocols at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in structured cabling installation and infrastructure maintenance (preferred, but training will be provided).
• Confident working with ladders, lifters and scaffolding systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and professional conduct on client sites.
• Commitment to safety and compliance procedures.
• A valid driving licence is a must.
• Fluent in the English Language
• Available to work early morning shifts (06:00 – 14.30hrs)

Another strong weekend in motorsport performance and engineering. 🏁

At the 49th Catania Etna hillclimb in Sicily - one of the opening rounds of the 2026 CIVM Sud championship - Darren Camilleri - Hassu Engineering secured 2nd place in class and 12th overall driving the Norma M20FC in the CN Group category.

Set across the demanding 7.5km Etna mountain course, the event is recognised for its technical and highly selective layout, placing precision, reliability and consistency at the centre of performance.
