📌 Vacancy – IT Infrastructure Technician

We’re now looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician to join our growing Infrastructure team, working under the guidance of our IT Infrastructure Specialist to deliver high-quality installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of passive IT infrastructure for both clients and our internal systems.
What You’ll Do:
• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling to best practice standards.
• Install cable management systems (PVC trunking, cable trays, conduit).
• Assemble/install racks, cabinets, and network equipment.
• Perform patching and labelling to Arkafort standards.
• Diagnose and repair cabling faults and connectivity issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance for clients and Arkafort’s own infrastructure.
• Maintain company tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow site access, health, and safety protocols at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in structured cabling installation and infrastructure maintenance (preferred, but training will be provided).
• Confident working with ladders, lifters and scaffolding systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and professional conduct on client sites.
• Commitment to safety and compliance procedures.
• A valid driving licence is a must.
• Fluent in the English Language
• Available to work early morning shifts (06:00 – 14.30hrs)
