We were honored to be invited to Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form in Gozo for Careers Day, where the co-founders of 3BIT had the opportunity to speak to students about our journey in tech and what it means to build a career in the age of AI.

For this veterinary practice, we designed and developed a custom digital system tailored specifically to their workflow, helping them manage their clinic more efficiently and keep everything organized in one place. 🐾

The platform allows the clinic to:
• Record and manage pet patient profiles and medical history
• Log and track consultations and treatments
• Use interactive dental charts for accurate medical notes
• Monitor inventory and medication stock levels
• Issue audited fiscal receipts in compliance with regulations
• Keep all clinic data centralized and easily accessible
• Manage staff members and apply specific permissions for their access
• Create custom fields specific to a species to be filled in by a team member when reporting a consultation

Earlier this week, one of our co-founders .nicholas was invited to deliver a talk at DevFest Malta 2025, hosted by ! 🎤✨

His session, “PWAs vs Native Apps: The Future of App Development,” explored how modern Progressive Web Apps have rapidly evolved — now offering capabilities that rival those of traditional native applications.

Nicholas broke down the tech behind advanced PWA features like offline support, push notifications, installability, background task queues and the power of Service Workers, while also comparing PWAs and Native Apps across performance, UX, cost, maintainability and platform flexibility. 💡

He highlighted the decisions developers and product teams face today when choosing which approach to adopt — whether to go fully native, build as a PWA, or even leverage a hybrid strategy depending on the product’s goals and audience, and he also highlighted the factors that make these teams choose one approach or the other.

A huge thank you to the Google Developers Group Malta for the invite and everyone who attended the session! ❤️ It was an incredible experience sharing insights with the local tech community and seeing so much enthusiasm for the future of web-first development.

Over the past few months, we’ve had the honor of helping the Parish of St. George bring 400 years of Maltese history into the digital age. 🇲🇹📜

We built a powerful web app that lets anyone explore over 35,000 digitised archive records, from baptisms and marriages to burials for a small fee that supports the church.
