A client recently brought in a MacBook Pro M2 following a tea spill, requiring an urgent internal assessment to prevent corrosion. I carefully opened the chassis to inspect the logic board and surrounding components for signs of liquid ingress and sticky residue. Using high-concentration isopropyl alcohol, I meticulously cleaned all tea residues from the delicate internal circuitry, as it evaporates quickly without leaving moisture behind. Sometimes when working with laptops I encounter a relic from the past, and this laptop must be one of them. To be exact it's a Acer Aspire 4738 Series from 2011 so it's 15 years and still going strong! Unfortunately the 500GB hard drive stopped working and the laptop was no longer usable, but now it has a 240GB SSD so it's much faster and responsive! As they say, if it ain't broken, don't fix it!
