Today, we’re spotlighting one of our Salesforce Developers, who works across Salesforce development, QA, Marketing Cloud and technical content - Humairaa.

Her journey into Salesforce did not start with a fixed plan. It started with curiosity and a willingness to try something new. What began as an unfamiliar platform quickly became a long-term passion.

Over time, her role grew from learning the basics of Salesforce development to contributing across different parts of the business, from marketing automation to quality assurance and client delivery.

One key turning point in her journey was realising something important:

Recently, our team took part in a Stress Management & Time Management training session organised by Boost Corporate Training.

The training focused on simple and practical ways to manage pressure, improve productivity and maintain a better work-life balance in today’s busy work environment.

Through interactive discussions, case studies and real-life examples, we learned how to plan better, prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure. It was a very useful session with many practical tips that we can apply in our daily work and personal life.

We were also happy to receive certificates from Uniciti International Education Hub, recognising our commitment to personal and professional growth.

A big thank you to Preetam Ramphul for this great learning opportunity.

One thing people often assume about remote work is that everyone works alone behind a screen.

At Smplicity Consulting Ltd (Mauritius), it honestly does not feel that way.

Yes, we work remotely most of the time.

But we still make time for team catch ups, random Slack conversations, problem-solving sessions and checking in on each other beyond work.
Some days are busy. Some projects are challenging. But having a team that supports each other makes a big difference.

One thing we always try to do at Smplicity is bring families together when we gather as a team. At the start of the year, it was so special to have spouses and children join us and be part of the moment.

During the team activities, we saw the children cheering, laughing and proudly watching their mums take part. It was a simple moment, but such a meaningful one.

It reminded us that behind every role, every meeting and every project, there is also a mother giving her best at work and at home.

We finally made it to LUX* Grand Baie after days of planning, checking schedules and trying to get everyone onboard for one fun evening together 😄

And honestly, it was worth it.

Good food, lots of conversations, random jokes, and the kind of catch-up you do not really get during work calls and meetings. And some of us are already looking forward to the next one 😂

We work in consulting and tech. Most days move fast. Calls, projects, deadlines, workshops, client work. Then the cycle starts again the next day.

This month we had a very special visit all the way from UK. Thank you Surbhi Garg for spending some few days with us. It was great having the chance to connect, exchange ideas and learn from each other.

We had some really great moments together during the workshops and throughout the week:
→ Workshop discussions where people feel comfortable sharing ideas openly
→ Breakfast conversations that slowly move away from work
→ After-work drinks where everyone gets the chance to switch off and connect properly

These moments may look simple, but they change how teams work together afterwards. Communication feels easier. Collaboration becomes more natural. People understand each other better.

And honestly, that matters more than most people think.

🌟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 🌟

Some growth stories don’t happen overnight. They are built step by step, through curiosity, learning, and real work. Luvesh journey at Smplicity Consulting Ltd (Mauritius) over the past year is a good example of this.
He started with simple curiosity about how businesses use Salesforce to make their work easier and more efficient. That interest quickly turned into hands-on learning and real project experience.

One of his biggest challenges so far was building an integration using only Salesforce Flow with External Services, without Apex. It pushed him to work through complex data, handle errors, and deal with system limits. It was not easy, but it helped him grow his problem-solving skills a lot.

Today, Luvesh enjoys the small wins that matter, solving problems, completing features, and seeing his work actually used by others.

He has also learned that in tech, growth is not about moving fast. It is about being consistent, learning every day, and improving step by step.

His advice to anyone starting says it all: don’t chase shortcuts. Master the fundamentals, practise often, make mistakes, and always understand the “why” behind the solution.
