Your AI posters are ugly.
Not because they're made with AI.
Because they're designed without understanding the fundamentals of graphic design.
Here's what we notice:
• Too much text. If everything is important, nothing is.
• No visual hierarchy. Your eye doesn't know where to look first.
• Poor typography. Five fonts, random sizes, inconsistent spacing.
• No breathing space. Every corner is filled. White space isn't empty; it's what gives your content room to breathe.
• No brand identity. Every poster looks like it belongs to a different company.
• Everything is competing for attention. The logo, headline, images, icons and call-to-action are all shouting at once.
• Effects over communication. Glows, gradients and 3D elements don't automatically make a design better.
• No clear message. If someone can't understand your poster in 3 seconds, you've already lost them.
AI can generate visuals but it cannot decide what deserves attention, what should be simplified, or how your brand should be perceived.
Good design isn't about making something look impressive.
It's about making people understand, remember and act. That's the difference between generating a poster and designing one.
At Reklam, we use AI every day. The difference is that AI supports our thinking, it doesn't replace it.
