We recently hosted our first Meet & Greet networking event in Monterrey. We had a great time meeting up with other professionals to exchange ideas and talk about the entrepreneurial landscape and digital transformation in Mexico and LatAm. We also enjoyed some pizza and drinks!

With these recurring get-togethers, our goal is to cultivate entrepreneurial networks while building a community that embraces innovation and encourages knowledge and idea sharing.

To mark this year’s 🌎 Earth Day, we recognize Greta Thunberg for challenging world leaders to take immediate action to address the climate crisis, and for inspiring so many to push for meaningful change.

We believe that true leadership is not landing a promotion at work, winning elections, or saying what everyone finds convenient because it will win us a favor. Rather, it is the courage to wield the power of reason and good judgement in the face of damaging ignorance.

Greta Thunberg is such hero. Her attitude may strike some as uncompromising, but we have no right to compromise on global ecology. We welcome and support this new generation of leaders — those who will help us deal with the mistakes of past generations.

In 1989, Max-Neef proposed a different approach to measure development based on people's participation and empowerment.

His framework gives us an alternative to structuralism and neoliberalism. Even though +30 years have passed, these ideas are highly relevant, especially given our current socio-ecological status.

We recommend this book as an invitation to reflect on how we measure our development as a society, putting people at the center of the discussion.

True leadership is not landing a promotion at work, winning elections, or saying what everyone finds convenient because it will win us favor. Rather, it is the courage to be disagreeable because it is right. Accepting the power of reason and good judgment shares in the quality of leadership.

Greta Thunberg is one such hero. Her attitude may strike some as uncompromising. But we have no right to compromise on certain things. Instead, we must honor limits and accept reality whether we find it convenient or not.

At Telos, we welcome the new generation of leaders -- those of us who must deal with the consequences of the mistakes of past generations. We would do well if we have the fortitude to retain our good judgment and the courage of our convictions, like Greta.

Being patient and consistent is key to a lot of things in life. ⚡

Programming is no different. At first, it might be a bit slow and frustrating, but everything starts to flow once you get the hang of it.

Be consistent. Goals are achieved by those who don’t give up!
