Nektar was one of those projects built entirely from the ground up. It wasn’t just about creating an account and posting content, it was about defining the essence of a brand.

The concept had to connect two physical locations: Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta. Two very different destinations. Two different oceans — the Atlantic and the Pacific. Different climates, different atmospheres, each with its own unique character.

That CONTRASTS became the essence of Nektar. The balance between one ocean and the other, one culinary style and another, one destination and the next. Between light and bold, warm and cool, red and blue. Every creative decision was rooted in embracing those contrasts while bringing them together under a single identity.

In 2025, I designed the logo and packaging label for a new “curados” brand called Zandunga. It was a product entering a market that wasn’t very familiar with this category. We never really talked about it, but there was so much more to explore because a product like this needed more than just a label.

A few months later, the product was pulled from the market. I had sold a label, but for a while I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d “killed a product.”

Everything we create carries a certain responsibility. Looking back, I believe there could have been a better balance between branding and investment that might have given this product a real chance to succeed.

Some time later, I created a concept of what I wish the brand could have been—because I still think a product like this deserves another shot.

Carhartt. (Micrositios en Amazon)

Después de pandemia (principalmente), la venta de productos en línea se disparó y plataformas como Amazon se hicieron prácticamente los dueños de la casa por su capacidad en logística y entrega, muchas marcas migraron incluso de sus sitios personales a micrositios dentro de la plataforma; y ahí, es donde tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con distintas marcas de outdoor y lifestyle, una de ellas Carhartt, desarrollando micrositios de marca e imágenes de producto (lifestyle).
