Just happened to a MacBook customer, early 2016 retina build with latest Ventura operating system, but symptom is akin of abrupted disk issue similar to windows environment.

Diagnosis through part replacement approach

Ruled out power supply. Proceed to swap motherboard and it boots.

MacBook Retina sent in for repair. Apparently the system refuses to recognize internal SSD (and Apple being notoriously glued this spare part with the motherboard, so no replacement is possible).

An alternative is to boot from external SSD. Other technical workaround includes swapping mosfet chip with another donor laptop.
