It's shipment day β€” and this one means a little more. πŸ“¦

Today another batch of our LED PCUs (Price Change Units) and controllers is heading out to our client in the Philippines. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

As always, nothing leaves our factory until it's earned its place. Every unit goes through a 48-hour burn-in test, a vibration test, and our full QC SOP β€” and it's all packed to a strict standard so it arrives at the client's side with zero damage.

But beyond the testing and the packing, here's what we're most grateful for: this dealer has been with us for more than 7 years. We met many years back, and we've been growing steadily together ever since. This is simply another shipment in a partnership we genuinely value.

All the best to our dealers β€” and yes, there's plenty more to come. πŸš€

If you're looking for a long-term partner in LED price change units and LED backlights, you know how to reach us. πŸ‘‡

Ever wondered why electronics seem to fail so much faster in humid climates? πŸ’§

Here in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia, humidity is the number one killer of electronic components. Moisture slowly seeps into the circuit board, corrodes the solder joints, and creates what's called a "dry joint."

Once that happens, the connection fails and the system shuts down β€” and in our climate, it can cut a board's lifespan from 5 years all the way down to 1.

So how do we protect against it? This is the controller card β€” the brain of the LED PCU. Even though our products are already IP65 rated, we add one more layer: conformal coating.

It's a thin protective lacquer laminated onto the board that seals out moisture before it can ever reach the components.

You can even see the difference: a coated board has a subtle glossy sheen, while an uncoated one looks matte. Same board β€” but very different lifespans.

And we don't do this only on some units. Every board, every unit, every order gets this step. That's the AVS standard.

Did you know humidity was the silent killer behind so many electronic failures? πŸ‘‡ (Message us if you'd like to know more.)

Ever noticed that one side of a petrol station's price sign can glow brighter than the other? It's not a fault β€” the sign is adjusting itself. β˜€οΈ

Our LED PCU has built-in automatic brightness control. It has two sides (like a monolith), and a sensor reads the conditions on each one.

When the sun shines directly onto one side, that panel automatically brightens so the price stays perfectly readable β€” while the shaded side stays at a lower level. In our demo, the readings tell the story: one side reads 38, the other just 19.

Why does this matter?
1️⃣ Power savings β€” many systems run both sides at full brightness, wasting energy. Ours only brightens the side that needs it. Save power, save money.

2️⃣ Longer LED lifespan β€” because the LEDs aren't always running at 100%, they last much longer.

And here's a clever touch: the brightness changes gradually over about 10 seconds. So if a bird flies over and briefly shades the sensor, the sign won't flicker on and off β€” it stays smooth and steady.

Smart, efficient, and built to last.

Would you have guessed it was automatic? πŸ‘‡ (And if you need a long-lasting LED price display, message us.)

Remote control acting up on your LED PCU? Before you call anyone, check these 3 things β€” it's almost always one of them. πŸ‘‡

1️⃣ The cursor won't enter edit mode.

The most common cause is a weak battery. The lights may still come on, but there isn't enough power to enter edit mode. Swap in a fresh battery and it'll go straight in.

2️⃣ Battery's fine, but it still won't let you change the price.

This usually means it's in POS system mode, where the remote can't be used. Switch it to operational mode (4OPP), press the cursor, and once it blinks you're in the right mode.

3️⃣ The remote is completely unresponsive.

Not the battery, not the mode? Then the remote simply isn't paired with the receiver. Our receiving card is an intelligent card, so a new remote needs pairing first: press the button on the receiver, then press any key on the remote β€” and it's paired.

Three quick checks, and you're back in control.

Ever wondered how a large, delicate LED price sign travels across the ocean and still arrives undamaged? πŸ“¦

It comes down to a packing checklist we follow before every shipment β€” because once it leaves us, it faces trucks, lorries, ships and customs before it reaches you.

Here's how each unit is protected:

🫧 First, bubble wrap for drop and vibration protection.

🧽 Two PCUs go in each box, with a layer of foam between them so the LEDs never touch.

🧱 At the base of the box, protective foam absorbs shocks and stops the aluminium from bending.

⚠️ A "fragile" sticker goes on the outside.

πŸ”’ Each box is numbered and matched to a packing list, so you β€” and customs officers β€” know exactly what's inside every box.

🎞️ Finally, the whole box gets a thin film seal for extra water-ingress protection, in case water tries to seep in during sea or air freight.

By the time it reaches you, it's in perfect condition β€” and easy to clear and check.

Would you have guessed this much went into the packing? πŸ‘‡ (And if you need reliable LED price displays, message us.)

Ever wondered who switches on a petrol station's lights every evening β€” and turns them off each morning? πŸŒ™

The answer: nobody. It does it on its own.

Behind the signage on a monolith β€” the brand logos, the Diesel, 95 and 97 panels β€” there's a backlight. Our feature uses a sensor inside the PCU to read the surrounding light and automatically switch that backlight on at night and off during the day.

Here's the demo: when we simulate night, within about 10 seconds a relay clicks "tack" and the backlight comes on. Simulate daytime, and it switches off again. No staff, no manual switching, no wasted labour.

Best of all, it integrates with the LED Price Change Unit as one complete package β€” so your backlighting and your price display work together as a total solution.

Would you have guessed it was automatic? Let us know πŸ‘‡ (and if you'd like this built into your monolith, drop us a message.)

Every LED PCU we ship has already been running for at least 48 hours β€” before it ever leaves the factory. ⏱️

This is our burn-in test department. The reason behind it is simple: if a product has a hidden defect, it most often reveals itself early, during the first hours of continuous operation. So instead of waiting for that to happen at a client's site, we make every unit run non-stop for a minimum of 48 hours.

If any issue appears during that period, we catch it, take the unit out, and repair it right here β€” before shipment.

And we don't test just a few samples. 100% of our products go through this 48-hour burn-in, and we test the complete set together β€” the cable, the PCU, and the controller.

That way, when the product reaches you, it's in tip-top condition and ready to go.

Ever wondered what's inside the sign showing fuel prices β€” and what happens when it needs fixing? 🧠

This little board is the "brain" of the whole price display. And here's the part most people don't expect: replacing it takes under 5 minutes.

No specialist, no sending it back to the factory. Just:

πŸ”Œ Power off

πŸ”© 3 nuts to open the cover

πŸ”„ Unplug the old card, slide in the new one

⚑ Power on to test β€” lights back on

βœ… Close it up. Done.

That's the whole point of a modular design β€” when something needs replacing, you're back up and running fast, not waiting days for a fix.

Would you have guessed it was this quick? Let us know πŸ‘‡ (and if you need reliable LED price displays, drop us a message.)

Before any of our LED PCUs gets packaged, it goes through one important step: a vibration test. πŸ“³

Why does this matter? Because our PCUs travel a long way to reach clients overseas β€” to the Philippines, to Cambodia β€” moving from truck to lorry to ship along the way. That's a lot of handling, and all that movement can expose a dry joint or loosen a component.

So we make sure every unit can take it. Each PCU is fastened into our vibration chamber and run for a full 10 minutes, powered on to simulate real conditions. If anything is going to go wrong, it shows up here in our factory β€” not after it reaches you.

And we don't just test a few samples: 100% of our PCUs go through this, with every serial number recorded and documented on our QC form.

It takes time to do one by one, but it's worth it. We want every unit to arrive 100% ready β€” turn it on, and it lights up. That's the AVS standard.

What happens when you pour a bag of sand onto an LED PCU? Let's find out.

Because our PCU is IP65, it's built to be dustproof. The front is silicone, which protects the electronic circuit inside β€” so even if dust or sand makes its way in, it simply sticks to the silicone surface and never affects the PCB.

As you can see in our test, after pouring sand directly onto it, the unit keeps operating without any issue β€” no problem on the board, and no problem on the LED side either.

Why do we put so much focus on this? Because our LED PCUs are installed in very dusty environments β€” right beside highways and busy roads. In places like these, dust is one of the biggest threats to electronics.

With this level of protection, you don't have to worry about the long-term reliability of our LED PCU.
