🔥 Data Recovery Case Success – HP Omen Gaming Laptop (RAID 0 + BitLocker)

This week we handled one of the more advanced recovery cases at PCWorkTech.

A client brought in a dead HP Omen gaming laptop—completely unrepairable. No power, no display, motherboard fully dead. But inside the machine were important project files the client desperately needed.

The real challenge?
🔹 Laptop was running RAID 0 (stripe array) using two NVMe SSDs
🔹 Data was fully protected with BitLocker encryption
🔹 System could not boot at all → RAID mapping lost
🔹 DIY attempts risk permanent data loss

RAID 0 + BitLocker is usually a nightmare scenario.

How we recovered the data

✔️ Removed both NVMe SSDs safely
✔️ Rebuilt the exact RAID 0 configuration on our workstation
✔️ Remapped the block structure to match the original array
✔️ Maintained correct stripe order + size
✔️ Successfully unlocked the BitLocker-encrypted RAID volume
✔️ Recovered 100% of the client’s data, intact and readable
