ELEVATE your home-theatre and stereo system performance.

Owner of a combined HT/stereo system wanted to extend the bass output to infrasonic levels for both home-theatre and stereo content added an Ascendo THE24 SUB PRO ACTIVE SEALED into his set-up and now enjoys bass down to 9 Hz (measured).

Owner’s comments:-

“Initially, I was very happy and satisfied with the three pieces of Ascendo 18” subwoofers. The bass was tight, dynamic, and delivered excellent slam.
After adding the Ascendo 24” active subsonic subwoofer, the experience moved to an entirely new level of the AV and Hifi journey. It vibrates the air, the sofa, and delivers chest-pounding impact without overwhelming the whole room. Not only does it fill the space effortlessly, it also enhances overall clarity — even making effects and dialogue more precise and defined.

Besides AV, it also brings significant improvements to stereo 2 channel listening. The subsonic subwoofer acts as the foundation of sound, handling frequencies below 30 Hz down to single-digit Hz. These ultra-low frequencies can be clearly felt and even heard when listening to big band recordings and classical orchestral works, especially with instruments such as pipe organ, cello, bass guitar, and drums. It also enhances imaging, resulting in more precise instrument placement, as well as greater soundstage width and depth.

Just sold and installed Malaysia's first Hisense 116UX, the world’s first 116-inch RGB-MiniLED TV. It delivers a peak brightness of 8000 nits and covers 95% of the BT.2020 colour gamut.

Sound & Vision's ARCAM SA45 Streaming amp review...
