WEEK 6: BEST UI/UX DESIGN TOOLS
https://survicate.com/blog/ux-design-tools/

Refer to the above link, prepare a poster (3 students) encompassing 3 UX design tools, and discuss the elements of the following:

Essential Features in UX Design Tools
UX design is a complex process that requires a well-rounded toolkit. Here are some of the most critical features to look for in UX design tools:
• Wireframing and Prototyping Capabilities: Quickly creating wireframes and prototypes is crucial. Look for tools that let you build low-fidelity wireframes to map out your ideas and high-fidelity prototypes to simulate the final product.
• Collaboration Features: UX design is often a team effort. Tools that offer real-time collaboration, version control, and feedback mechanisms can significantly enhance the design process.
• User Testing Integration: Integrating user testing into your tool can streamline the process of gathering user feedback and making data-driven design decisions.
• Responsive Design Options: With the variety of devices available today, your design tool should facilitate the creation of responsive designs that adapt to different screen sizes and orientations.
• Interactivity and Animation Tools: Engaging users often requires more than static images. tools with interactivity and animation features can help bring your prototypes to life.
• Comprehensive Asset Libraries: A rich library of icons, fonts, and UI elements can save time and ensure consistency across your designs

Week 5:

The heart of Human Computer Interaction design is to make the computer system user-friendly, to do that it is recommended to design the computer in the most user-friendly way possible.

Using Collaborative Projects, provide 5 examples of user-friendly website with URL and relate to 10 usability heuristics for user interface design.

1. Visibility of system status
2.Match between the system and the real world
3. User control and freedom
4. Consistency and. standards
5. Error prevention
6. Recognition rather than recall
7. Flexibility and efficiency of use
8. Aesthetic and minimalist
9. Help users recognize, diagnose and recover from errors
10. Help and documentation.

All groupmates must ensure suitable approaches take into account for need of the user and their preference throughout the entire design process are applicable.

Week 3: A software design process is crucial. Why is it really vital? The software design process encompasses a set of related and sequential tasks that transform a set of input to a set of outputs. It can be represented via the website we visited.

Notwithstanding, users will find it difficult to use a website that lacks informative feedback and a well-designed dialogue. Moreover, errors frequently occurs and a short-term memory makes it more troublesome.

Let’s scrutinize this scenario. To what extent are Schneiderman’s 8 Rules pertinent to all system developers in the design process?

A software design process is crucial. Why it’s really vital? The software design process encompasses set of related and sequence tasks that transforms a set ...

Week 3:
Norman’s Execution–Evaluation Cycle provides cycle of enabling users to form goals, take actions, and evaluate results in a loop. It shows gaps between intention and system response.

Besides, Abowd & Beale’s Interaction Framework indicates the communication between user and system through input or output with emphasis on mapping of user actions to system functions.

Based on above statement, discuss application of Norman's Execution-Evaluation Cycle and Abowd & Beale's Interaction Framework used in human computer interaction field.
