At the recent 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗗𝗣𝗔 & 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, hosted by H One Private Limited, Suresh Sankaran Srinivasan, Group Head of Cybersecurity & Data Privacy, took on a problem faced by Sri Lankan enterprise: data-privacy mandates are tightening, but meeting them is not the same as being secure.

𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

brought two perspectives to the cybersecurity discussion:
• 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗕𝗖'𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - a panel moderated by Ts. Dr. Prasad Jayabalan, Head of Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture bringing together leaders from the regulator, banking sector, cybersecurity, and technology ecosystem to explore how organizations move beyond checkbox compliance to build true cyber resilience.
• 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 - Fikri Fadzil, Lead Offensive Security, on closing the gap between passing an audit and surviving a real breach.

Under the Technology and Cyber Risk Management Guidelines 2026, adversarial attack simulation is no longer optional for Cambodia's banking and financial institutions. ACFC helps enterprises go beyond it: compliance meets the mandate, resilience withstands the adversary and we build for both.

Axiata Cyber Fusion Center(ACFC) recently hosted a distinguished delegation from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and the Institut Keselamatan Awam Malaysia - IPSOM, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN).

The visit provided insights into the operations of a cyber fusion center, with discussions focusing on:
• Governance and multi-agency collaboration
• Cyber threat intelligence sharing
• The role of a cyber fusion center in strengthening national cybersecurity resilience
• ACFC’s integrated, in-house model for delivering end-to-end cybersecurity capabilities and expertise

Such engagements reflect ACFC’s ongoing commitment to advancing cybersecurity through knowledge exchange and ecosystem-wide collaboration, helping to strengthen Malaysia’s cyber resilience.

The 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 agenda is not built in policy papers; it is built in the operational environments where Malaysia's digital future is being shaped.

On 14 May 2026, Axiata Cyber Fusion Center (ACFC) welcomed YBhg. Datuk Fabian Bigar, Secretary General of the Kementerian Digital leading a senior delegation representing Malaysia's digital governance ecosystem.

The visit reflected the Ministry's effort to strengthen the integration between public policy and industry ex*****on on Malaysia's Digital Trust agenda and the Ministry's engagement with ACFC as a trusted partner, is a recognition of the role Malaysian-built capability plays in shaping the country's digital resilience in practice.

The session gave the delegation exposure to two converging pillars at Axiata:
• ACFC's regional cybersecurity operations and , the AI-powered threat attribution platform
• Axiata Group's -Native Telco-Techco journey, anchored in Responsible AI by Design

When the Director General of MyIPO personally attends a patent handover, it is not a routine moment. HELIOS , developed by ACFC, has been granted patent MY-212304-A by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO). It is among one of the rarest cybersecurity patent granted to a Malaysian entity, and the first patent for Axiata.

HELIOS was conceived, engineered, operationalized, and patented within a span of 36 months entirely in-house by the ACFC team:

• Engineering started in Q4 2023
• Patent filed in August 2024, examined on an expedited basis by MyIPO under national interest grounds
• Patent granted in February 2026, recognizing HELIOS's strategic relevance to Malaysia's Digital Trust agenda

What makes HELIOS matter:

• Access to 𝟴+ 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 to date, and growing

The numbers describe the surface. The capability is the depth of context HELIOS builds underneath them. Attribution, correlation, and early warning at a scale that gives enterprises real-time situational awareness against borderless threats.
