In this video, we demonstrate the capability of our AR solution showcasing real-time data visualization at accurate placement made possible with the usage of GNSS receiver. We demonstrate how our GNSS receiver can connect to the RTK stations from JUPEM for higher accuracy of visualization.

The recent Batang Kali landslide is a disastrous event which has affected many lives. Search and rescue (SAR) mission is still ongoing at the time of this post, and we hope & pray that the mission will ease through to the remaining 8 lives still missing.

At Spatialworks, we are able to help by extending our services in analyzing the disaster area through our remote sensing analysis expertise.

As a partner of Planet Labs in Malaysia, we have access to the high resolution satellite image technology to accurately map out and analyze the affected area.

Video below shows the initial comparison between before (13 Sep 2022) and after (16 Dec 2022) of the landslide incident at Batang Kali.

We begin our final chapter for 2022 with a visit to the Yellowscan Demo Day on 5th December at the Palm Garden Golf Club, IOI Resort Putrajaya. Our team went to the product demonstration day to learn how Yellowscan products and solutions can assist Spatialworks together with our partners and businesses in future.

The technology day demonstrated the new generation Surveyor Ultra product with the Fly & Drive pod along with the Explorer and Mapper+ with their camera modules. We were lucky to have a mini workshop session on flight planning, LiDAR data processing and learn firsthand on how to merge data from Mobile Mapping System (MMS) and drone data.

We experienced installing a LiDAR scanner on a car, but the first time we saw installing one on a golf caddy does seem like a brilliant idea too! Anyone up for a LiDAR scanning + golfing session soon?
