Hi guys
Almost everyone owns a smartphone but do you really know your smartphone? Here are some major components of your smartphone and what they do, let's begin
Display - This is the most obvious component of a phone, it helps you see and interact with your device
Battery - Batteries use lithium-ion technology and they come in two variants, removable and non removable
System on a chip - Most people feel the system on a chip (SOC) is the same as the processor, but it isn’t. It is far more than that. In fact, it controls almost everything
Memory - No smartphone can function without memory; the major memory on a smartphone is the RAM and a flash memory also known as the internal memory starting from 8 GB to as high as 512 GB
Camera - All smartphones come with a rear and a front facing camera. Apart from the fact that megapixels are a thing for cameras, the type of sensor a camera has also affects its performance such as when images are taken in low light or well-lighted conditions
Sensors - Your smartphone comes with loads of sensors and a typical example is the proximity sensor; during a call, if the device is brought near your ears, it automatically locks the screen to prevent unwanted touch commands
