Nice piece👍
As my friend and I engaged in a thought-provoking conversation, a burning question arose within me: How will God approach the judgment of our world? Observing the state of affairs, it often feels as if apathy has consumed the majority, with only a handful who genuinely care.
Regrettably, even among these few, hypocrisy thrives. Sin has become alarmingly normalized, which contrasts starkly with our childhood days when we were gripped by fear of transgressions. Perhaps it was due to the values instilled in us during our upbringing or the teachings we received in Sunday school. Nowadays, however, it seems that parents have little interest or time to nurture their children in the ways of the Lord. They entrust this responsibility solely to the Sunday school teacher, who can only engage with them from week to week. Consequently, the younger generation finds itself immersed in worldly pursuits, leaving minimal time for God. Under such circumstances, it's no wonder that the few ministers and men of God we look up to often turn out to be mere content creators when subjected to thorough scrutiny.
The weight of my concern for this current and future generation is immense. I cannot help but weep at the potential consequences if this trajectory continues unchecked. Yet, amidst the despair, a glimmer of hope emerges. I choose to place my trust and belief in the existence of genuine followers of Christ who remain dedicated to serving God with true devotion and sincerity. With increased efforts, it is conceivable that these individuals, along with ourselves, can reclaim this world for God's glory.
