JAMB 2020 UTME Result - See How To Check Yours.

JAMB has enabled the portal for candidates who took part in the 2020 UTME to check their results. If you have taken part in the 2020 UTME, you can proceed to check your results. We believe the results are released 2 to 3 days after the exams. So we advise all candidates to check their results 2 to 3 days after their exams. We have provided details for candidates to check their results online. See details below;

2. Enter your JAMB registration number or Email into the space provided,

3. Click on "Check My Result".

Your result will be made available to you. You can then screenshot it, and come back here on Myschool.ng to share your testimony. If you do not see your result, ensure you check back as the results may be uploaded in batches.

Like we pointed out earlier, candidates yet to take the exams should check for their results two or three days after the exams.

FG Approves Resumption and New WAEC Date For Final Year Secondary School Students....

The Federal Government has given a go-ahead for the resumption of all secondary schools in the country by August 4th, 2020. However, the resumption is for only SS3 students writing the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, and the National Examinations Council, NECO.




This was contained in a statement by the Director of Press and Information of the ministry, Bem Goong. According to him, This was part of the unanimous decisions reached at a virtual consultative meeting between the Federal Ministry of Education, Honourable Commissioners of Education of the 36 states, the Nigerian Union of Teachers, (NUT), the proprietors of private schools, and Chief Executives of examination bodies.

The statement stated that students will have two weeks within which to prepare for the West African Examinations (WAEC) which will now commence 17th August 2020.

The meeting also resolved that a passionate appeal be made to the Federal Government through the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and public-spirited Nigerians for assistance to schools across the country to enable them fast track the preparations for safe reopening, as agreed.

The statement also stated that a meeting is to be convened tomorrow between the Federal Ministry of Education and Chief Executives of examination bodies namely, NECO, NABTEB and NBAIS to harmonise their examination dates, which will be conveyed to stakeholders expeditiously by the Federal Ministry of Education.
