One of my students, just 11 years old, recently created a brand-style commercial that left many adults asking, "An 11-year-old made this?"

Yes. An 11-year-old.

(And yes, I think Monster Energy should see this. 👀)

The first thing I teach every student is Prompt Engineering. I believe it's the most important AI skill anyone can learn.

Before they create videos, generate images, or even edit content. They learn how to think, structure ideas, and communicate with precision, because AI will only be as intelligent as the person giving it instructions.

That's why the commercial you're about to watch isn't impressive simply because an 11-year-old used AI.

It's impressive because an 11-year-old first learned how to think, then used AI to bring that thought to life.

Imagine what would happen if more young people spent their summer building skills like this instead of simply consuming content online.

Just take a look at what a 12-year-old created. ❤️
One of the assignments I gave my students was simple:
"Tell a story that's personal to you."

One student came back with a story titled Grandma's Chair—a touching story about a family that still leaves Grandma's chair empty at every Sunday meal because, in their hearts, she's still with them.

That story reminded me of something:
AI can generate images and videos, but it still takes a human heart to tell a story that makes people feel something.
This is why I love teaching teenagers. Every week, they remind me that creativity has no age.
