Who remembers.... I miss those days wen we went to school, lined up & d headmistress & teachers inspected our nails den we match to our classrooms singing "o my home". U remember Na. The days of nasco biscuit, Okin biscuit, eat n clap biscuit, pepper snake biscuit, nylon zobo, speady biscuit, trebor sweet, iced colourd water tied in nylon we called it "lolly".
D days of Goddy-Goddy & Pako biscuit.
D days of Ali and Simbi, Mr Salami & Mrs Salami, Edet lives in calabar, Mr & Mrs Bako, Obi is a boy, where ralia was still a sugar girl, while Eze was going to school. I remember groundnut was 5kobo & choko Milo sweet was 5kobo, days of missing game, who is in d garden, police catch d thief, d days of mama & papa play. Wen we use to build housesπ with sand, play suwel game, Obi chikolo Obi, dodging ballβ½ ringer rosy, Tinco tinco, change ur style, ten ten, skipping stop! And war scatter...open.. Fire π«.u remember Na, those days wen we use to fly β kite on street, wen boys will use d paint bucket cover as tire & their daddy hanger as steering.
Those days wen rubber band was stock exchange.
Those days wen votron, jimbo, Power Rangers, Spider Man was our favorite cartoon, ghost busters, God zillers.
D days of Lima soft drinks & choko Milo advert on black & white TV πΊ, tales by moonlight on NTA π. Wen we sing cheke leke give me white finger! D days wen we use to drink water π§ from d tap, suck it out wen it's not coming out.
Those days wen NTA will show rainbow π colour for 30mins then national anthem b4 d resume program at 4pm. The days wen basket sandals, Simbi and beta sandals were d best.
Days wen we all sing sandalili sandalili songs. DSTV has come, no more Old fun. I am very proud to ve experienced all this. If u are not smiling βΊ it means u were not born In my generation. Which means r d indomie generation.
