A few days ago, schools from across Gombe joined us for an Information Session on the National Girls in ICT Competition 2026 đź’š

Our COO, , walked participants through the competition, from registration to what makes a strong entry, while we shared practical tips on idea development, hardware building, and ex*****on.

A developer also showcased a working hardware prototype, bringing the journey from idea to real solution to life. 🚀

As the Volunteer Hub in Gombe, we’re genuinely happy to support schools as they guide girls into tech and innovation, just as we’ve done in the three previous competitions & won at the national level. 🏆

Yesterday, we had an amazing time hosting schools across Gombe for an Information Session on the National Girls in ICT Competition 2026 đź’š

Teachers and school representatives joined us to learn everything they need to know about the competition from eligibility & registration to what makes a strong application.

We shared details, answered questions, cleared confusion, and walked schools through the entire process step by step. Lots of curiosity. Great questions. Even better energy in the room.

As the Volunteer Hub for Gombe State, we are happy to support schools in preparing their girls to confidently step into technology and innovation spaces.

The National Girls in ICT Competition 2026 is now open, and secondary schools in Gombe State are strongly encouraged to apply on behalf of their female students.

This competition exposes young girls to technology, innovation, and national recognition—while they compete for prizes including laptops, tablets, and robotics kits.

What schools should do:

• Nominate eligible female students
• Complete the registration process
• Attend the guidance session for proper application support

Day 2 for us. Day 4 for the girls. And a powerful wrap.

Today’s session covered the real backbone of digital work:
•Email and smart email management.
•Cloud storage essentials.
•Google Docs and Spreadsheets for collaboration and productivity.

From communication to organization to teamwork, we’ve now walked the girls through the core tools they need to function confidently in digital and creative spaces.

As the facilitator Our COO rightly said, this phase of the bootcamp has equipped them with everything they need to dare to dream—and more importantly, the skills to act on those dreams.

Because dreaming is beautiful.

Earlier today, the Northeast Regional Manager of Union Bank Nigeria Plc, Alh. Ahmed Yaya, paid a visit to Dopals Technologies.

Back in 2019, when Dopals was nothing more than an idea on paper, he believed enough to invest ₦1,000,000 and stand by us. That early conviction and continued support helped shape the journey we are on today.

Visionary mentors like him are rare, especially in the North. We deeply appreciate the visit and the belief.

Our partnership with Bold Girls Dare to Dream officially kicked off this week at their Digital & Creative Skills Bootcamp 🚀

Today, we led a hands-on session on office and business productivity tools, guiding the girls through Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams—the essentials for modern collaboration and professional communication.

Day one, and the energy was already inspiring.
We’re proud to be part of a bootcamp that equips girls with practical, future-ready skills—and we’re confident this experience will leave a lasting impact.
