If most of your friends don't pray, who will pray (Janazah) and make du'ฤ for you when you die?
Choose your friends wisely.

*The Book of Medicine - Kitab al-Tibb*

Narrated Abu Qatada:

I heard the Prophet (๏ทบ) saying, *"A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Shaytan (Satan). So if anyone of you sees (in a dream) something he dislikes, when he gets up he should blow thrice (on his left side) and seek refuge with Allah from its evil for then it will not harm him."*

Sahih al-Bukhari 5747

*NOTE ๐Ÿ“*

1. al-Hafidh Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in his commentary of this hadith explained that the chapter in which the hadith was collected by Imam al-Bukhari, and the hadith itself, established the permissibility of al-nafth (light blowing with a small amount of saliva) during ruqyah, responding to scholars who disliked it. The prohibition in the Qur'an concerns the blowing of sorcerers and practitioners of falsehood, not legitimate ruqyah. Its permissibility is confirmed by authentic hadiths, including the Prophet's ๏ทบ approval of Surah al-Fatihah being recited with nafth during ruqyah. - Fathul Baari, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani

2. Ibn Hajar further explained that the Prophet ๏ทบ also practised nafth as part of his nightly routine. Before going to bed, he would recite Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and al-Naas, blow lightly into his hands, and wipe his face and whatever parts of his body he could reach, repeating this three times. When he became ill, he instructed สฟAสพishah (ุฑุถูŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ู‡ุง) to perform the same practice for him. - Fathul Baari, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani

3. Finally, al-Hafidh further clarified that there is no contradiction between narrations stating that the Prophet ๏ทบ performed this practice at bedtime and those mentioning it during illness. Rather, he practised it on both occasions. This demonstrates the Sunnah of using Qur'an recitation, nafth, and wiping the body as a form of protection and ruqyah, while understanding that the benefit ultimately comes from Allah. - Fathul Baari, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani

*O Allah, we ask You (for safety from trials and) well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, we ask You for forgiveness and well-being in our religion, our worldly affairs, our family, and our wealth. O Allah, conceal our faults and protect our vulnerabilities. Indeed, You are All-Hearing, Ever-Responsive. รƒmeen*

The grave is real, and our preparation matters. ๐Ÿค
Let the Qurโ€™an be a companion in this life and a source of protection in the Hereafter.

May Allah protect us from the punishment of the grave and grant us Jannah. ๐Ÿคฒ ฤ€mฤซn.
