HOW TO GET DESIGN CLIENTS (THE WORKING STRATEGIES)
What I will be sharing with you here are some of the strategies that have helped me to get clients here in Nigeria and Abroad.

#1. Don't Focus Only On The Design Side
Don't just focus too much on the design side of things but also the business and marketing side is so so important.
Sure, you need to have good design skill no doubt, but skill without money is just a hobby.
You need to learn the business side of design it matters.
#2. Show Up
Obscurity is a great disease.
No client will come to you until you show them what you can do.
Show them that you are a designer.
There are many clients out there that need your service.
Show your work on social media ( Instagram, Facebook, Linkedln, etc).
If you are using business Whatsapp show your work on your catalog.
In short, build a portfolio and create awareness for it, that is the message.

#3. Do Free Work
This strategy is a very powerful one if done correctly, have used it and it works pretty well.
Do free design for influencers, companies, brands, NGOs, friends, relatives, etc.
This helps you to build your portfolio, show what you are capable of doing, and also strengthen your relationship with them.
