It was an amazing session from Riliwan Akinyemi and Mayowa Gidado on 'Policy for Progress: Creating an Africa Where Startups Thrive' at Day 3 of KBTC25.

Day 3 at featured a powerful keynote from Ekundayo Ayeni, Co-founder of CareerXpress, as he spoke on “The Talent Pipeline: Equipping the Next Builders for the Future of Work.”

He emphasized a truth shaping today’s workforce: “The world is shifting from role-based work to skill-based work.” According to him, employers are no longer hiring just for titles, they are looking for people who can solve problems.

Ayeni also highlighted why building strong talent pipelines matters more than ever: “Without a talent pipeline, companies struggle to innovate because they are always trying to catch up on hiring.

His session challenged young builders, founders, and organizations to rethink how they prepare for the future of work, not just by learning skills, but by becoming adaptable creators who can shape the solutions Africa needs.
