A product has to do more than sit on a shelf. Its packaging needs to communicate its identity.

For this DE_REEZ rice packaging project, the client shared her logo and product references to guide the creative direction.

GBI used those references to develop a packaging concept with a premium black and gold presentation, clear product information and a distinctive visual identity.

The goal was to create packaging that presented the product professionally while retaining its brand identity.

I genuinely thought being good at design would be enough.

Then I started a business and realised I had entered a completely different classroom.

I had to learn sales. Pricing. Marketing. Client management. Systems. And a whole lot more.

I’m still learning, but one thing I know now is this:
