*TOPIC: GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU*

*TEXT: PSALMS 57:2-3*
[2]I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me.
[3]He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

*DISCUSSION*
Joseph spent two years in prison. David was anointed as the next king of Israel when he was just a boy, but he did not reign until he was thirty years old.

Much of that time was spent in running from King Saul. Jesus Christ also began His ministry when He was thirty. Paul spent much time in prison. While you might think God shouldn't have 'wasted' their time, God knew better.

David's waiting prepared him for the great work God called him to do. Paul's waiting gave him time to write several books of the New Testament.

Your time "on hold" is not wasted if you are serving God right where you are. Trust that God's timing is better than your own.

*PRAYER*
May we have the patience to wait for God knowing He has not forgotten us in Jesus name, *AMEN* .

*TOPIC: RESTLESSNESS*

*TEXT: II THESSALONIANS 3:11*
[11]For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.

*DISCUSSION*
Being restless can cause you to act impatiently in ways you will later regret. Moses was restless about the Israelites' complaining and acted rashly by disobeying God. Saul also disobeyed God in his restlessness to go into battle.

By contrast, though David has to wait a long time to be king after being anointed as a young man, he held out for God's timing, even when it seemed that God had delivered Saul into his hands.

When you feel restless in your time of waiting, thank God for where you are now and wait patiently to discover the reason as God's plan unfolds before you. Pray about everything... if you do this, you will experience God's peace.

*PRAYER*
God help us to anxious for nothing but in everything let us make our request known to You, *AMEN*

*TOPIC: THE STINGY SOUL*

*TEXT: II CORINTHIANS 8:8-12*
[8]I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others.
[9]For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
[10]And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago;
[11]but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.
[12]For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

*DISCUSSION*
Stingy people are those who give grudgingly or in small amount. Most times, giving is looked at in terms of money, food, clothing or shelter. But giving goes beyond material things. Preaching the gospel to others is a form of giving. God is the only one that gives salvation but human beings can help to share the good news to others

Stingy souls are those who have received the gospel of Christ and are not explaining it very well to others. They don't explain the message of the gospel of Christ for people to understand. They go for Evangelism to fulfill all righteousness. These stingy souls may even be those who took time to receive the gospel of Christ. But immediately they believe they forget that they were once like those who have not received the gospel of Christ.

We need to intensify effort in preaching Christ to all and sundry so that so many people will have a part in the inheritance God has promised us. Every soul has a reward for all his/her deeds.
When we preach the gospel to people, we are justified. Their blood will not be on our hands. But when we neglect this great commission, we give room for the devil to thrive in its deceit.
We should preach the gospel with our might and with wisdom. We should go for evangelism with a renew energy and determination to help people discover Christ - Mark 16:15-16

*PRAYER*
Oh Lord, we beg that You help us to be committed and passionate about the spread of the gospel in Jesus name *AMEN*
