NOT EVERYONE DESERVES A SEAT IN YOUR TOMORROW
📜A Story of Betrayal and Destiny
Adebamgbe was a young visionary—intelligent, prayerful, and full of dreams for a brighter future. He often spoke of his passion for impacting lives and building something great for his community. His name, Adebamgbe ("the crown helped me stay"), was a reflection of his divine preservation and favor.
But there was Ayedun, his childhood friend. Ayedun, though witty and loyal in some ways, carried a spirit that pulled others backward. His name means "life has become sweet," but his choices—envy, manipulation, and laziness—often made things bitter for those around him.
People warned Adebamgbe about Ayedun:
"Ko ye ki eniyan maa mu erù ika sinu ojo iwaju e" – One should not carry the burden of wickedness into their future.
But Adebamgbe, in his kindness, would always say, “Nobody knows tomorrow.”
Time passed. Adebamgbe got a rare opportunity abroad through a mentorship program. He needed just one referral. Ayedun, driven by jealousy, intercepted the message and deleted it from Adebamgbe's device. When asked later, he acted surprised and blamed network failure.
That singular betrayal delayed Adebamgbe’s breakthrough by years. He eventually discovered the truth through divine revelation. That day, he wept, not just for the lost opportunity, but for the years he had dragged dead weight, thinking loyalty was enough reason to carry poison into his destiny.
Today, Adebamgbe is successful—but wiser. He now tells young people:
"Do not let pity tie you to people who are the reason your future is under attack. Let go. Some people are agents of delay. THE FUTURE is too precious to gamble."
Moral:
Cutting ties doesn’t mean you hate them. It means you love your future more. Many people are Judas beware of them!
