Fragmented supplier base and unverified documentation continue to add compliance issues, cost pressures, and inconsistency of both quality and supply to the raw material procurement for foundries and die casters globally. Meanwhile, current procurement processes for raw materials are disconnected with traditional e-mail based administration.

Igun provides the platform for foundries and global offtakers to coordinate procurement and centralise supplier management in sourcing vetted metals of African origin.

A 4000 metres silver-copper drilling programme in Mushima North, Zambia is gaining momentum as Richard Belcher, Managing Director of TERTIARY MINERALS PLC moves to site.

Tertiary Minerals has launched its largest drilling programme in the southern African country, for near surface oxide copper and copper silver occurrences worth around $4.6 billion. The company projects a significant and highly profitable mining operation with over 58 million ounces of silver oxide equivalent in its Target A1 exploration alone, in Mushina.

While this is a near term target of open-pit near-surface oxide mineralization with discovery of around 30 million tonnes at an average grade of 40-60 grammes per tonnes silver equivalent, in the long term, the UK company plans expansion and deeper drilling with a steady eye on the historical highest grade copper silver occurrences in Zambia.

Tertiary Minerals holds a 90% stake in the Mushima North Project, with the remaining 10% owned by the government of Zambia.
