The situation Manchester United is in today for Mason Greenwood, it is them that created it by not respecting the proceedings of the courts of law.
When the court dropped the cases, there was no need of Manchester United taking up the investigations. The club made a mistake.
When the court dropped the cases, that was the time they should have re-instated Mason Greenwood in the squad.
A football club clowned to be an investigation firm. It was a mistake. They would have respected the law and maybe somehow fine Mason Greenwood and donate the fine to some domestic violence charity.
United did not respect the law and that is why they can't get rid of Greenwood legally. The easiest way they have is to loan him.
United escalated the Mason Greenwood saga by themselves now they have to sort it.
The biggest win for Mason Greenwood, the Mason Greenwood brand management was having the cases dropped.
That was all that was required and I am sure they also knew that's what they needed to achieve only to be dissapointed by Manchester United, a football club turned investigation firm that can even underlook court proceedings.
The club made a mistake and they have to own it and manage it. They don't have any legal way to get Greenwood out.
They either keep him or loan him or keep him not playing until his contract is overseen. And they must keep paying him to the end of his contract.
Of Course, I don't see United taking that option. They would rather re-instate him and face the short term backlash.
They would have capitalized on the court proceedings and none would be crucifying them as much as it is today.
They acted to take up the sin and be own gods. Now, they have to manage it.
United got his win when courts dropped the cases. United took up the burden by clowning to investigate.
