🎓📖 CHRISTIANITY IS NOT FIRST CLASS IN SCHOOL — IT’S FIRST PLACE WITH GOD 🙏

I still remember back on campus

We used to design church invite cards with the names of students who were on first class, department presidents, and “celebrities” on campus.
As if to say, “Come to Jesus — He’ll make you academically successful too.”

But now I ask: Is that really what Christianity is about?

Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ reduced to a motivational tool for grades, fame, and ambition?

Truth is — we were well-meaning, but we missed the mark.

Because following Jesus is not about climbing ladders — it’s about carrying crosses.

> “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

Jesus didn’t die so you could make first class.
He died so you wouldn’t perish.
He rose so you could live a life surrendered, even if it doesn’t make you popular, rich, or celebrated.

Yes, God can bless you academically.
But even if you fail every course — He is still worthy of your life.

> “What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?” — Mark 8:36

Let’s not present education, prosperity, or popularity as the evidence of salvation.
The real proof? Obedience. Brokenness. Holiness. Sacrifice. Love. Even when no one claps.

Jesus isn’t a career plug.
He’s not a scholarship connection.
He is Lord — even when the grades don’t align, and life feels like a valley.

Let’s preach that.

đŸ”„ UNPOPULAR TRUTH: PROSPERITY ISN’T THE GOSPEL đŸ”„

Let’s be honest — sharing prosperity testimonies just to gather crowds “for Christ” is a lie wrapped in churchy marketing.

We tell people, “Come to Jesus, and your life will be sweet, your pockets will overflow, and doors will open” — but that’s not what Jesus promised.

He said:

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

The truth is this: we’re not inviting people to a party — we’re calling them to a crucifixion.

And yes
 we know that won’t “trend.”
But the cross never did.

Nobody tells you this, but the man who wrote “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus” did so after watching his family killed for their faith.
And what converted his killers wasn’t a miracle or a money testimony — it was how he embraced persecution with unshaken resolve.

“I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back.”

That is what moved hearts.
That is what real power looks like — not flashy success, but unwavering surrender.

We cannot keep baiting people with blessings and hiding the burden of the cross.
Yes, God blesses. Yes, He provides. But the road is hard, narrow, and lonely — and that is the invitation.

“Whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” — Luke 14:27

Let’s stop selling Jesus like a business.
Let’s preach the truth: He is worth it — even when it costs everything.

STOP TRYING TO PRAY YOUR WAY INTO WHAT’S BEEN FREELY GIVEN!

Fam, let’s be real—some of us are out here trying to fast and tongue our way into being the next Baba Adeboye or Apostle Babalola. We think if we pray at 12:01 AM, face east, and quote 13 scriptures, God must move. Spoiler alert: He won’t.

Those men didn’t earn it by fire and thunder. It was GRACE.
Zechariah 4:6 says: “Not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit...” Translation: chill, it’s not about your hustle.

You want Peter’s shadow-anointing? My guy wasn’t even trying! The man was just walking. Acts 5:15 says his shadow healed people accidentally. Can your own shadow even shade you?

We’re out here chasing realms, angels, dimensions, portals (Marvel who?). Meanwhile, God is like, “Why not use what I already gave you?”
1 Corinthians 2:12: “...that we might know what God has freely given us.”

Also, not every moment needs tongues. Sometimes just talk to God like a normal person.
1 Cor. 14:15: “I’ll pray in the Spirit and with understanding.”

Baba Adeboye is meek. You? You drag small usher and say “do you know who I am?”
Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek...”

Bottom line: Don’t overcomplicate this walk. Use what you have. Receive what’s free. God’s not hard to reach—He’s just not impressed by theatrics.

Why Do Some Prayers Get Answers Faster? Let’s Talk Spiritual Logistics

Have you ever noticed that some prayers seem to be answered faster when you're praying with certain people

Or at a specific church program

Or when a particular pastor is leading the prayer?

You feel the atmosphere shift, and before long, boom—answers come with immediate alacrity.

But have you ever stopped to ask:
“Why?”
What’s the secret behind this?
Is it psychological hype
or is there spiritual intelligence at work?

Let’s go back to Daniel.
He prayed, and his answer was dispatched from heaven by Angel Gabriel. But Gabriel was delayed, held up by territorial resistance. It took Archangel Michael, a higher-ranking warrior, to step in and clear the path.

Here’s the revelation:
Daniel didn’t lack faith.
He didn’t pray wrongly.
He lacked backup.

Now think:
If Daniel had others praying alongside him—each with their own angels of different ranks, functions, and authority—would the delay have lasted 21 days?
I doubt it.

Scripture says we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people loaded with kingdom authority.
If earthly kings have servants and ministers, do you think Heaven’s royalty (that’s YOU) doesn’t have heavenly help?

Yes—you have angels.
Maybe more than one.
Maybe different kinds—messengers, warriors, watchers, and ministering spirits.

That’s why when you align with others who carry divine weight, the spiritual atmosphere gets heavy—answers descend quicker, resistance breaks faster, and miracles manifest visibly.

So no, it’s not hype.
It’s not luck.
It’s a spiritual alignment of angelic reinforcements.

The next time you feel drawn to a prayer group, a pastor, or a corporate altar—don’t overthink it.
God may be drawing you to a divine convergence, where your angels unite with others to bring heaven to earth.

You’re not alone.
You’re not empty.
You’re not powerless.
You’re a king with an army. Pray like it.

Loving with Boundaries — and It's Biblical.

There comes a time when you realise that helping someone repeatedly without accountability isn't love — it’s enabling. Saying “no” isn’t always easy, especially when emotions are involved, but sometimes it’s the wisest and most loving thing you can do.

Scripture doesn’t just encourage generosity — it also teaches discernment and stewardship:

2 Thessalonians 3:10 — “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
Galatians 6:5 — “Each one should carry their own load.”
Proverbs 21:20 — “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.”
Proverbs 19:19 — “Rescue them, and you will have to do it again.”
Matthew 10:16 — “Be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

We are called to be kind, but we’re also called to be wise. Helping others shouldn't come at the cost of our own peace, nor should it prevent them from learning responsibility. Boundaries are biblical.

It’s okay to support others — but it’s also okay to say:
“I love you, but I won’t keep funding a cycle that doesn’t lead to growth.”

I recently received fresh insight while reflecting on the phrase “the enemy at the gates.” In the UK work culture—especially in healthcare and corporate environments—assessments are often made not just based on your output, punctuality, or work ethic, but on what others say about you.

Here’s the problem: what if those opinions come from people who carry bias, envy, or even subtle tribalism?

In that case, the “enemy at the gate” isn't someone obvious—it’s the one whispering to the gatekeeper (your supervisor, manager, or assessor).

The Bible is full of this pattern:

Daniel’s colleagues couldn’t fault his performance, so they schemed against him and influenced the king.

Haman lied to the king to target the Jews out of personal hatred.

David cried out in Psalm 69: “Those who sit at the gate mock me
”

But here’s the hope:

Isaiah 54:17 says every tongue that rises against you shall be condemned.

Psalm 24:7 calls for the gates to lift up their heads and let the King of Glory in.

Psalm 75:7 reminds us that promotion comes from God, not man.

If you feel wrongly assessed, misrepresented, or blocked at the gate—don’t fret. God sees. And He speaks for you.

Speak to your gates. Pray over your assessors. And declare that no enemy will prevail at the place of your elevation.

Your name will be spoken in the right rooms.
