I hate being a Liability

My Paddy.

Right from the age of 14yrs

I understood what it felt like to

being a liability.

🟣The feeling of depending on someone before

I could get anything was killing me!!

To make matters worst

Before I could get money for anything from

my mom especially; I have to explain why I

need that thing.

it was like writing an application.

🟣The Feeling of people getting entitled to

me because I asked something from them

was even more killing as I began to grow up.

At an early stage I started working just so I could

kill that "liability feeling" or make it go away.

🟣Working as a sales rep; I don't think there's

anything worse than that job. I was the one

that usually sack myself or just quit cause

I felt I was just wasting there.

Not Until Graphic Design came along.

There was nothing more satisfying than

the packages Graphic Design brought to

my life. The fact I could

✅Earn from home

✅Never feeling like a liability

✅Work on my own terms

✅Build my personal Brand

✅And Most importantly earn massively from it

I told my students one thing
To Create Greatness you must feed on greatness

In essence to that
I gave them an assignment to create
a church flyer design from scratch

I only gave them details to the design
with no videos... giving them the opportunity
to expand their mind and Create from scratch

If you think creating a design from scratch
is that easy; you can go to Canva and try.

When they submitted their assignment
I could tell they didn't understand what
I said earlier but it made me understand

The level they're still on and how to
handle it.

However ons stood out for me
and that is the design below 👇 .........,...................

📌If you must create GREATNESS
📌You must feed your mind on GREATNESS

You don't take a blank mind
to the workspace.

My Students are making me Proud

My Paddy
It is one thing to teach it is another
to be able to replicate your results
in others.

Teaching is both ways
📌I give you knowledge
📌You implement.

It takes a lot of patience to teach and
explain fundamentals of a particular
Skill.

Funny enough this fundamentals are
usually the most boring aspects of
learning 😂

Sitting down for hours just to hear
and understanding the ABC of something
you're new to; it usually sounds like
a broken record but;

📌I'll always tell them
if you fail to understand the
Basics, it will be evident in
your work as a Designer.

And they didn't disappoint 😌

Being a salesgirl at Ikeja changed my life.

At that moment, I was financially helpless.
