Title: Urgent: Christians Are Under Attack in My University—Marginalized, Isolated, and Oppressed
My name is Anodero Wisdom, a 400-level student at the University of Benin, and I am a Christian. I must urgently bring awareness to the spiritual and physical abuse that many Christians face. Since April 2024, I have been subjected to a deliberate orchestration of humiliation, led by my institution, my community, and even my parents, who are traditionalists and oppose my faith, trying to drag me into idol worship. When they couldn’t force me to compromise, they resorted to black magic, white magic, and witchcraft. Yet, because I am a Christian, it backfired. Still, the attacks were severe—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I had to sleep in the lecture halls for one year and six months before I could rent another apartment. This cost me my health, and it forced me to repeat probation—when I should have been a graduate by now. I also believe my brother played a role in a deliberate attempt to swap my destiny; he was also expelled from the institution after these events unfolded. I am being followed by unknown cars—every time I leave my hostel, these vehicles trail me. I also see how many churches have become authoritarian—using manipulation to exploit. This is a deliberate orchestration by the institution, the community, and even my family. If you have ever experienced something like this—whether in your university, a church, or by your family—where you were isolated, oppressed, and marginalized—please, I urge you to speak out. Send me a message, because your voice matters, and together we will break this silence.
