TECH FOR THE STREET
WEEK 2 GIST.
We started the Saturday with a pep talk from Doctor Bayo Adeyanju, he mainly told the teenagers to be more FOCUSED with there studies and not be distracted by any form of peer pressure (boyfriends, girlfriends, drugs etc.)
After which Mr Lawal Olawoye taught Microsoft Word 2010 for 4hr 30mins, trust me they weren’t bored because it was STRICTLY PRATICAL and FUN too
To wrap up the day Mr Ayion Ahmed Allen came over to tell his before and after story, how he became a Fashion Designer and illustrator and now owns a top fashion Outfit and a clothing line, he encouraged them to be DILIGENT in whatever they lay there hands to do positively .
Before I forget can you imagine we had four young ladies join us, I asked Temitope, our ICT class Rep. “why ladies and not guys?”, She said “the guy said they weren’t interested” and am like ……………….
Once again, this Programme is FREE for Public School Students its just our own form of C.S.R (Corperate responsibility Service), by the way MOST of the Teenagers were recommended by an NGO called P.B.O.F (Pastor Bimbo Odukoya Foundation),
