This is another secret of Charcoal. Charcoal is something you must have on you all the time. In Case you never paid much attention, it's time to do it.

Here are the benefits of charcoal you never thought of:

1. Does your shoe smell bad? Just buy charcoal and put it in it.

2. Do you have a bad smell in your room? Drop Charcoal that you think the smell might come from.

3. Does your refrigerator or freezer have a smell? Put a piece of coal in it.

4. Do you have a strong body smell? Just make a charcoal powder and use. Charcoal is very good to get rid of the bad smell.

5. Have you ever wondered why your parents always pick up the ashes of the coal pot to pour in the hen or toilet before sweeping? It was to get rid of the smell.

6. If you want your vegetables to be fresh all the time, make a solution with charcoal and leave your vegetables.

7. Nowadays, people complain about the use of fertilizer on plants and vegetables, making them unhealthy and toxic. If you have charcoal, you don't have to worry about it. All you need to do is leave the vegetables in a charcoal solution during the night and it will take care of the toxins.

8. If you suspect that a food contains too many chemicals, simply drop them in a charcoal solution for a few hours and you are ready to leave.

9. If you want to whiten your teeth, don't pay attention to all these ads on chemicals and bleaching technology. Just get charcoal and catch a plantain stem. Make a powder on charcoal, crush the end of the plantain stem, soak in charcoal powder and brush your teeth with a week.

10. Did your peanut or palm soup go wrong? You don't have to worry about everything. Just put it on fire and drop a piece of charcoal. This will extract all the bad taste and smell and restore soup to its fresh state.

11. Do you have a hangover of a drink with friends the previous night? Just have charcoal with you and chew on it. To make it more effective, make it a nice solution and drink. You're good at it.

Lessons Learnt while doing business in Nigeria.

1. If you cannot run after debtors, just don't bother to start this entrepreneur thing that you are having ideas about.

2. The system is piled up in layers with both good people and bad eggs. Be discerning enough to know what to do to navigate.

3. Ensure you focus less on the negativity in the news, it will drain your mind and energy

4. Make decisions very swiftly. Delay can be dangerous.

5. How long are you willing to stay without earning a salary, it may come to that.

6. There are still very good employees in Nigeria, they will sweat blood to see that the company thrives. Ensure you value them.

7.Loans are not the only source of funding for your business. Think deeply before borrowing.

8. Grit and determination are an essential element for success in business.

9. Book keeping is VERY IMPORTANT. It will do you a lot of good.

10. Enjoy yourself while at it. You determine the scenery, do not allow the environment, news, government policy or people to determine your scenery.

This is a season of floods. Here is a bit of science of floods someone may need.
Your car is standing on tyres filled with air. As such, it will become floaters to your car once the car is in enough volume of water. The vehicle will lose contact with the road quickly and if it's a flowing water, it will start to sail downstream like a small toy. Same goes for bikes.
So, don't drive into swiftly flowing water of questionable depth. It will float and sweep the car away!
Floods aren't mere water. They are water armed to the teeth. A moving flood batters anybody inside of it with stones, broken glass, rocks and smashes them against everything as it sweeps them along. They get hurt and start to bleed quickly - just like being attacked by an angry mob. It is only worse because it pushes filthy water into their stomachs and lungs at the same time, thereby asphyxiating them.
Simply stay away from deep water bodies and don't drive on flooded roads unless the water is not more than halfway up your tyres and you definitely know there are no deeper spots on that road. © Ogunlela
