Scholarship

A donor has provided a fully-paid scholarship for two students for this course. The aim of the scholarship is to increase the participation of women in the Nigerian IT industry. The requirements are:

1) The applicant must be a woman of 16 years or older
2) The applicant must be willing and able to attend the entire course (6 Saturdays)
3) A minimum of four out of the six days must be spent in our facility in Ipaja, Lagos
4) The applicating must demonstrate enthusiasm and aptitude for IT in general and software development in particular.
5) The applicant must be computer literate

NSF: Classes beginning 18th February 2023

This is a final reminder that our course: Introduction to fullstack web/software development will start next Saturday (18th February) at our premises in Ipaja/Command area in Lagos. Please note the following:

- Punctuality: The class starts at 9am prompt. Please arrive a few minutes before 9am so as to have time to set up your laptop and register your attendance.

- Laptops: Pease arrive with your own laptops. As explained in the course description, we do not normally provide laptops in-house, unless in an emergency. Furthermore, we will be giving you homework and other exercises that will require that you have access to a personal laptop.

- Location: Our Address is: EasyWare, 1 Prince Alade Lane, off Ajasa Command Road, Lagos. The building is situated on a small road and some people may struggle to locate it, the first time around, so please give yourself some additional time to to find the venue, just in case. - Online students: as with the physical attendees, please ensure that you are logged into and ready by 9am. All attendees will be sent login details before the class begins.

- Video only: for those who have paid only for video recordings of the classes, the full videos will be available for viewing after 4th of March. Physical attendees and online students will also have access to the recordings.
