DON'T ADD YOURSELF TO THE MENU!!!
In a recent discussion with a "fireman", here in Lagos, it was interesting to find out just how many domestic fires are caused by gas leaks from the kitchen.
Now this is very serious. Mainly because that's what a gas explosion is... Very Serious!
So how do you manage this issue since most of us use cooking gas in our homes with the cylinders in close proximity?
Our THINK! team realized that the best solution is to ALWAYS LOCK
the cylinder head whenever gas is not being used. Simple!
Only unlock or release from the cylinder head when gas is to be used for cooking. Lock immediately you are done cooking.
Do this as often as you breathe. And teach everyone else to do so.
If you can begin and maintain this program then you will be greatly reducing the risk of a gas related explosion or fire.
