Pan African Towers (PAT), one of Nigeria’s leading telecom and digital infrastructure provider has appointed Azeez Amida as its Chief Executive Officer to oversee its business operations. The appointment which took effect on April 1, 2022, will see Amida, 38, lead PAT in its drive to strengthen its position as Nigeria’s largest indigenous Telecom and Digital Infrastructure provider.

Infracredit Guarantees Pan African Towers N10billion Infrastructure Bonds

InfraCredit, an ‘AAA’-rated specialised infrastructure credit guarantee institution, has announced its guarantee of Pan African Towers Limited’s (PAT) Digital Infra Fund SPV PLC’s N10.0 billion 10-Year Series I Senior Guaranteed Fixed Rate Infrastructure Bonds.
Due 2032 under the N50 billion Debt Issuance Programme, PAT Digital Infra Fund SPV PLC is a special purpose funding vehicle established by PAT as part of the company’s capital-raising plan.

PAT is a digital telecommunications infrastructure company and wireless service facilitator, offering colocation and infrastructure sharing services to mobile network operators and internet service providers. PAT’s remarkable growth over the past four years of operation has been underpinned by its cost efficiency leadership and service quality philosophy.
PAT is a first-time issuer in the debt capital markets. With the support of InfraCredit’s guarantee, the PAT Series I Bonds were accorded a ‘AAA’ long term credit rating by Agusto and Co. and GCR, reflecting the high degree of creditworthiness and the robust quality of the Bonds.

Pan African Towers Organises Strategy Session, Proposes Plans To Sustain 100% Power Availability at Its Sites

Pan African Towers has organised its strategy session for the 2022 business year. The session which held on February 3, 2022 at the Lilygate Hotel, Lekki in Lagos, saw the indigenous telecom infrastructure company propose plans on how to sustain its 100% power availability at all its sites.
Speaking during the strategy session, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company, Karo Akaba reiterated the importance of telecommunication in our everyday life. She noted that what telecommunication does in the world is critical and as such it is a critical infrastructure that is needed to foster access to finance, education, health, insurance, and other aspects of the economy.

2022 Pan African Towers Strategy Session.

As we plan to bridge the telecom infrastructure gap in Nigeria with our massive rollout plan, it is integral that we promote the National Broadband Plan by projecting what we are doing in the telecom space. With a broadband pe*******on rate that is just below 40%, and an infrastructure deficit capped at $36 billion dollars, telecommunication is a critical network infrastructure and it is our duty to treat it as that. This is what we at Pan African Towers are doing. We want every Nigerian to be able to access basic life services anywhere they are with their mobile phones. We want to connect those in underserved areas to the global world with their phones.

Pan African Towers Targets Bridging Telecom Infrastructure Gap

Pan African Towers has stated its readiness to bridge the telecom infrastructure gap by ensuring that it rolls out more sites in every part of the country.
The company made its commitment through its Acting Chief Executive Officer, Karo Akaba shortly after being named the telecom infrastructure Company of the Year at the 3rd edition of the Nigerian Business Leadership Awards which was organised by Businessday at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.

Pan African Towers Wins Telecom Infrastructure Company of the Year for the Second Time in a Row

Pan African Towers has won the Telecom infrastructure Company of the Year Award for the second time in a row at the 2021 Nigeria Business Leadership Awards organised by Businessday. The indigenous telecom infrastructure provider beat two of its competitors to emerge the winner of the highly prestigious Nigeria Business Leadership Awards which held at Oriental Hotel on Saturday December 12, 2021. The company was awarded the Telecom Infrastructure Company of the Year because of its ground-breaking contributions to the growth of telecom connectivity in Nigeria while also substantially caring about the sustainability of the environment and its huge investment in clean renewable energy to power its sites 24/7.
