I remember seeing something a while back that stuck with me
It said delegation is one of the most important skills for any entrepreneur who wants to grow beyond a certain level.
And honestly, it makes sense.
Because a lot of founders don’t struggle with hard work.
They struggle with letting go.
You will hear things like
“I just want to make sure it’s done properly.”
Or
“It’s faster if I do it myself.”
But somehow, the same person is still stuck handling emails, follow-ups, small tasks things that don’t really move the business forward.
And the funny part is this
It’s not always because there’s no one to help.
It’s because trust hasn’t been built yet.
So the work stays on one desk. Yours.
Delegation isn’t about handing everything out and hoping for the best.
It’s about identifying what doesn’t need to sit with you anymore… and training someone else into it step by step.
Start small.
Simple tasks.
Low risk.
Watch how they handle it before you scale it up.
Because at some point, a business that only moves when you move… is not really scaling.
It’s just depending.
And that’s a dangerous place to stay too long.
PS: What is one thing in your business you know you shouldn’t still be doing alone?
