My Biggest Lesson So Far in 2025: Consistency Beats Perfection.

There were moments earlier this year when I caught myself waiting for the right time to launch an idea, send an email, or even just reach out to someone. I told myself, Let me fine-tune this a little more or Next week will be better...

But you know what actually moved the needle?
Showing up. Every day. Even when it wasn’t perfect.

Some days I had clarity, some days I just had discipline but it was the act of doing that made the difference. Not waiting. Not polishing. Just consistent, intentional effort.

Those small steps have opened doors, built connections, and created momentum in ways I didn’t expect.

If you’re in a season where you’re feeling stuck or second-guessing yourself maybe don’t aim for perfect. Just aim for repeatable. The results will follow.

MY DAY 2 AT AI-2005: BUILDING THE FUTURE WITH GENERATIVE AI & SEMANTIC KERNAL.

Over the past few days, I had the privilege of participating in the Microsoft AI Skills Week Hackathon and I’m incredibly proud to share that my team and I emerged as 2nd Runner-Up! 🎉

✨A Personal Milestone:
This hackathon introduced me to the power of Agentic AI autonomous, context-aware systems that truly think and act on their own. The learning was deep, fast-paced, and incredibly empowering.

✨Our Mission:
To build an AI-powered Compliance Agent that helps financial institutions stay ahead of ever-changing regulatory updates in Nigeria and beyond.

✨What We Built:
Using Azure OpenAI + Semantic Kernel, our agent:

Continuously monitors regulatory sites like CBN, SEC, and FIRS

Summarizes legal documents into plain English

Classifies updates by risk level (High, Medium, Low)

Features a chatbot interface for real-time policy queries

Sends proactive alerts via a Notification Center

This solution helps compliance teams automate tedious processes, reduce risk, and react faster to new regulations saving time, effort, and potential penalties.

My Day 1 at AI-2005: Building the Future with Generative AI & Semantic Kernel.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining other developers and tech professionals for the AI-2005: Develop Generative AI Solutions with Azure OpenAI & Semantic Kernel training in Lagos. The experience was nothing short of transformative.

We dove deep into building agentic AI solutions using Microsoft’s Semantic Kernel SDK, explored advanced prompt engineering techniques, and began crafting real-world intelligent agents capable of autonomous decision-making.

The highlight? We kicked off a hackathon challenge focused on Regulatory Compliance Tracking a critical use case for industries like FinTech, banking, and IT where compliance, fraud detection, and KYC are mission critical.

Our team is currently developing an AI-powered compliance agent that can:
✅ Automate KYC document validation
✅ Dynamically assess customer risk profiles
✅ Monitor evolving regulatory requirements in real-time
✅ Make autonomous decisions using planner workflows

This isn’t just a technical exercise it’s a vision for how AI can reduce operational risk, improve onboarding efficiency, and help enterprises stay compliant at scale.

Key lessons from Day 1:

• Agentic AI is the future not just responding to prompts, but actively planning and executing tasks.

I’m excited about what’s next, and even more eager to apply these tools to solve meaningful problems across industries.

WHAT I WISH EVERYONE KNEW ABOUT AI.

When most people hear AI, they think of robots taking over the world or some sci-fi movie plot. But that’s just a tiny slice of the story.

✨The reality?
AI is already helping everyday people like you and me write faster, sell smarter, think clearer, and even work less. (Yes, less work not more.)

Let’s be honest:

AI feels intimidating.
You hear terms like “machine learning, “GPT,” or “algorithms,” and your brain wants to clock out.

But here’s the thing
AI isn’t here to replace you.
It’s here to upgrade you.

Whether you’re a teacher, business owner, student, content creator, or just tired of doing everything manually AI is the tool you didn’t know you needed.

WHAT MOST PEOPLE MISS ABOUT AI.

1. You’re already using AI you just don’t know it.
That email auto-suggestion? AI.
Your Netflix recommendations? AI.
Google Maps rerouting you from traffic? AI.

2. You don’t need to know code. You just need to know the problem.

THIS WEEK I BUILT A DEMO SUPPORT AGENT FOR CLIENTS.

I had the chance to build something really exciting, a demo version of a smart support agent designed to help clients get answers, learn about our services, and even book consultations all automatically.

Think of it as a virtual assistant that’s always available, always helpful, and never takes a break.

WHAT IT DOES?

The support agent can:
• Answer client inquiries in real time

• Explain our different solutions in a simple, friendly way

• Book consultations directly into our calendar

• Trigger automated workflows to keep things moving behind the scenes.

TO BRING THIS DEMO TO LIFE, I USED:

• Adaptive Cards to create interactive, clickable responses inside Microsoft Teams.

• Power Automate to build smart flows that handle bookings, notifications, and follow-ups.

• Conditional logic to personalize the conversation based on the client’s needs. Etc.

• And finally, I published it to Microsoft Teams so it could be tested and experienced in a real-world setting.

WHY IT WAS EXCITING

Even though it was a demo, it felt like building a real digital teammate. I loved how everything came together from the logic to the design and how smooth the experience felt once it was live.

There were a few challenges (especially around flow conditions and Teams integration), but solving them made the process even more rewarding.

GRATITUDE AND TEAMWORK

Huge thanks to Mr Oluwafemi Akinfenwa for always available to answer all my questions, And the rest of the Task Systems Limited Solution team for their support, ideas, and encouragement throughout the build.

This project reminded me how powerful low-code tools can be when paired with creativity and curiosity.

Ever clicked “open file” and your PC just vanishes into thin air?
Not dead. Not alive. Just spiritually buffering.
Your computer isn’t being dramatic.
It’s overloaded.

• RAM? Tired.
• Hard drive? Full of memes from 2016.
• Background apps? Fighting for attention like toddlers at a birthday party.

The Result?

You miss deadlines.
You refresh Chrome like it’s an ex.
And worst of all you consider switching to pen and paper

Here are 4 Quick Freezer tips (No IT degree needed)

1. CTRL + ALT + DEL > Task Manager > End unnecessary tasks.
(If Chrome has 27 tabs open, yes, it’s guilty.)

2. Uninstall unused software.
If you haven’t opened that photo editor since your last breakup—delete it.

3. Disk Cleanup.
Windows > Type “Disk Cleanup” > Let the magic happen.

4. Get external storage or use Google Drive/OneDrive.
Because your C: drive deserves a break.

ONE MALWARE-INFECTED USB CAN END DREAMS!

A freelancer once plugged a USB into a company’s system. Harmless, right?
Until that USB turned into a digital time bomb.

Malware spread faster than office gossip.
Systems crashed. Data exposed. Chaos. Productivity? Gone. Peace of mind? What peace?

It cost the business weeks of downtime and thousands in recovery.

COPILOT: The PA I Never Had (But Always Needed).

Let’s be honest running a business means wearing 17 hats and forgetting where you put 12 of them.
This means juggling content, emails, launches, and the occasional identity crisis.

I didn’t need a personal assistant, I needed a COPILOT. One that lives inside my Microsoft 365 apps and doesn’t flinch when I say, Can you make this sound like I slept last night?

And suddenly, I had a PA who:

• Lives inside my Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Writes like a pro
• Summarizes meetings I forgot to attend
• And never complains about my 2 a.m. creative bursts.

I asked it to help me write a product description.
It asked:
Do you want it bold, breezy, or hilarious?
I said: All three.
It delivered.

Now, Copilot helps me:

• Draft emails in Outlook
• Create content in Word
• Analyze product data in Excel
• And even prep for meetings in Teams (without the panic)

So no, I don’t have a human PA.

But with Copilot in Microsoft 365, I’ve got something better.
