*CONGRATULATIONS!*
On Monday, 4th April, 2024, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) successfully held its combined Ward, Local Government, and State Congresses. Due to the security situation in the region, particularly in Borno State, all levels of the congress were conducted simultaneously through Consensus.
The congresses were peaceful and hitch-free. At the conclusion, Hon. Haruna Amuda was duly elected as the State Chairman, while Hon. Hassan Alhaji Mohammed emerged as the State Secretary. Equally, other State Party Executives were also sworn-in.
The Acting Zonal Secretary, Alhaji Abdulkadir Fema, played a significant role in making sure to promote transparency and justice in the just concluded congresses. He equally organized and coordinate the occasion impeccably.
The event was well attended by members of the Kwankwasiyya and Obidient Movements, alongside NDC members from all 27 Local Government Areas of Borno State. The turnout was overwhelming, with a massive presence of youths and women, demonstrating strong grassroots support. With this momentum, the NDC is poised for victory in 2027.
We urge all our members to serve as worthy ambassadors of the party and to continue advocating for peace and unity.
