_Catholic Priest Freed to Join March for Life After Jail Time for Pro-Life Activism_
Father Fidelis Moscinski, a Catholic priest and avid pro-life activist, has been freed from jail, thanks to a pardon from President Donald Trump ¹. Moscinski's release comes after he was sentenced to six months in federal prison for blocking access to a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in New York ².
Moscinski's actions, which took place on July 7, 2022, were a peaceful protest against the clinic's abortion services. He placed locks and chains on the gated entrance and covered some of them with glue, effectively shutting down the clinic for about two hours ³.
The priest's pro-life activism has garnered significant attention in recent years, including multiple arrests for his involvement with the group Red Rose Rescue ³. Despite the challenges he's faced, Moscinski remains committed to his cause, stating that his actions were necessary to prevent the "murder of defenseless children"
With his freedom restored, Moscinski is now able to participate in the March for Life, the largest pro-life rally in the United States, taking place in Washington, D.C. ¹. This event marks a significant moment for pro-life advocates, and Moscinski's presence serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication to the cause.
