All applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
✓ Be a Nigerian as defined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
✓ Be a male or female between the ages of 20 and 32 years by 30 March 2026.
✓ Medical consultants may be between 25 and 40 years by 30 March 2026.
✓ Be medically, mentally, and physically fit according to NA standards.
✓ Be recommended and attested to for good character by at least two (2) recognizable referees who must be:
A Local Government Chairman or Secretary, or
An officer of the Armed Forces not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (or equivalent), or
An Assistant Commissioner of Police or above,
✓ Referees must hail from the applicant’s state of origin, and their passport photographs must be affixed to the letter of attestation.
✓ Submit a letter of attestation from former institutions.
✓ Measure at least 1.68 m in height for males and 1.65 m for females.
✓ Must not have been convicted by any court of law.
✓ Serving military personnel must be free from any disciplinary case and endorsed by their Commanding Officer/Commander.
✓ Possess at least a First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division, or HND (Upper Credit) from an accredited institution.
✓ Possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, or Local Government Council, or a valid age declaration.
✓ Possess a valid state of origin certificate.
✓ Possess an NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption certificate, as applicable.
✓ Graduates with professional qualifications must be duly registered with relevant regulatory bodies recognized by Nigerian law at the commencement of cadet training.
✓ Only post-secondary academic credentials obtained from 2011 to date will be considered.
✓ Present valid contact addresses and telephone numbers of parents/guardians and Next of Kin.
✓ Must not have bodily inscriptions or tattoos.
✓ Tender all original copies of educational certificates (primary to post-secondary).
✓ Serving personnel must present:
A valid military identity card
A letter of recommendation from their Commanding Officer/Commander
Valid service sponsorship letter(s) to tertiary institutions (where applicable)
✓ Must have served for not less than five (5) years.
✓ Must not belong to any cult, society, or fraternity.
