Soludo Re-Elected: Governor Secures Second Term in Anambra

Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has secured a decisive second term in office, extending his mandate to 2030, after being declared the winner of the November 8 Anambra State governorship election by INEC. Soludo, representing the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), dominated all 21 local government areas of the state, securing 422,664 votes. His closest contender, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled 99,445 votes.

Out of 2,788,864 registered voters, 598,229 were accredited, with 595,298 ballots cast. Of these, 584,054 votes were valid, while 11,244 were rejected.

The results highlight a significant margin of victory, underscoring Soludo’s continued political influence in the South-East.
