16-Inch Macbook Pro💻 With New Keyboard Said To Launch ASAP

Apple plans to debut a new MacBook Pro laptop with a larger screen and revamped keyboard as soon as Wednesday, according to people familiar with the situation. This will be the first major update since the MacBook Pro line was redesigned three years ago. Apple is moving from a 15-inch screen to a higher-resolution 16-inch screen, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing unannounced products. The display will likely appeal to video and photo editors, gamers and software developers.

The new keyboard is designed to be more reliable. Some MacBook laptops have been criticised by users in recent years for sticky keys and other problems, prompting Apple to start a keyboard repair program. The speakers will be louder. The existing 13-inch model won't be updated.

Amazon Found👀 Selling Unlicensed Cell Signal📲 Boosters:

Signal boosters can reportedly disrupt entire networks and now retail giant Amazon has been found selling unlicensed mobile phone signal boosters.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) started tightly regulating signal boosters five years ago as the devices, if misconfigured or poorly manufactured, can knock out service for everyone who happen to be close by.

Today, all consumer signal boosters sold and marketed in the US must meet the agency's strict technical standards. Doing so can get expensive, and many FCC-authorised boosters cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

E-commerce sites like Amazon offer cheaper options. The only problem is, they're not always compliant, the Wired recently reported.

Amazon has been found selling signal boosters without US FCC licenses including those from Phonelex, MingColl, and Subroad and some marked as Amazon's "Choice".

The devices are not only unlikely to pass the registration process with carriers, but have caused service disruptions -- more than one buyer has received complaints from carriers after their boosters interfered with cell towers. Call drops and disconnections are distinct possibilities, according to Engadget.

*Fitbit Wins Deal For 1 Million New Users In Singapore Health Plan👏*

Fitbit said on Wednesday it won a contract with the Singapore government to provide fitness trackers and services to up to one million of the country's citizens as part of a health initiative that begins in October.

The deal, which involves the company supplying its trackers free of charge but on the condition that users will spend SGD 10 ($7.23) per month for a year.

Shares of Fitbit climbed about 3 percent in midday New York Stock Exchange trading.

The deal is a boost for the San Francisco-based wearables pioneer, which has seen its shares sink in the past two years in the face of competition from Apple, Samsung Electronics and a raft of cheaper rivals.

"This is Fitbit's first major integration of a digital health platform and wearables into a national public health program globally," the company said.

Whatsapp From Facebook Branding Appears📱 In Latest Beta: Report

WhatsApp is adding an update to its latest beta that adds the "WhatsApp from Facebook" tag to the application. This comes less than a week after the Facebook-owned platform started rolling out a feature called "Fingerprint lock" for its Android beta users.

The tag is visible under WhatsApp's Settings and is a clear indication of Facebook marking its territory. Although Facebook has kept the app separate, the company hasn't given up on the dream of a unified platform, the MSPoweruser reported on Saturday.

The social networking giant purchased WhatsApp back in February 2014 and has made sure that people know about the purchase and this is another step in that direction.

Meanwhile, when the Fingerprint lock feature is enabled, it would let people use fingerprint to open WhatsApp.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10📱 Ditches Headphone Jack🙆

Samsung executives have long poked fun at rivals for ditching the headphone jack in smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10, announced Wednesday, squeezes in more battery power and other goodies, but at the cost of the familiar old jack.

Samsung, which for years has pushed bigger and bigger displays, is also introducing a smaller version of the Note for those who think phones have just gotten too big.

The main model is being called the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and will have a display measuring 6.8 inches diagonally.

Though the display is bigger, the overall size is about the same as last year's 6.4-inch Note 9.

Samsung made no references to the headphone jack during its 70-minute announcement event in New York.

Samsung is including wired headphones that plug into the phone's USB-C data and charging port.

Apple and Google also have ditched the standard headphone jack.

Beyond that, the Note 10 phones introduce new stylus features, including the ability to flip through music and photo libraries by gesturing with the stylus in the air.

The collaboration includes giving Note users the ability to receive and respond to text messages and take phone calls from a Windows computer.
