That’s exactly where our 3MTT NextGen fellows are right now, and the whole vibe has shifted.

Instead of asking, “What does this mean?”, the conversations are now, “How do I make this feature work?” They’ve moved past simply watching tutorials and are deep into building their showcase and capstone projects - turning months of intense learning into real-world solutions.

Is it easy? Definitely not. We are talking about ideas that flop on the first try, tough feedback to implement, and deadlines breathing down their necks.

But that’s the beauty of the grind. This is the exact stage where theoretical knowledge transforms into solid experience. Here at WaffiHub, it’s incredibly inspiring to watch our fellows ideate, collaborate, and iterate until they can proudly look at a screen and say, “I built this.”

It's funny how quickly time moves.

What felt like the beginning just a few weeks ago is now entering its final stretch.

In about a month's time, this cohort of the 3MTT NextGen programme will come to an end.

For many of our fellows, this journey has been more than learning digital skills. It's been about showing up when it was easier to stay home. It's been about pushing through difficult topics, asking questions, solving problems, and believing that every small step was worth taking.

If there's one thing this programme reminds us, it's that growth rarely happens in one big moment.

A few months ago, this was just an opportunity.

Today, it's becoming a launchpad.

During the week, they're putting in serious work on the DHF platform — watching lessons, completing assignments, tackling projects and challenges independently. The dedication is real, and we see every bit of it.

But something shifts when they walk through our doors for the face-to-face sessions.

Suddenly, conversations are centered around the questions that have been bothering them. Errors that had someone stuck for days get solved in minutes because the person sitting next to them spotted what they couldn't. Someone starts explaining a concept to their colleagues — and halfway through, they're having the lightbulb moment.
